I Love Pizza Balgowlah — Restaurant in Sydney

It disappoints me that I can't do a lower review, as their customer service is terrible. I've ordered once before on my own, and then a second time with my husband. The second time solidified my opinion. On this occasion, we ordered a pizza as displayed on their website with a minor vegetarian edit, and when I collected it, I found it to be lacking. They use chunks of avocado, which leads me to the impression it was frozen avocado, and misshaped items on top of a pizza don't cook evenly, also avocado is weird when cooked, it should be sliced on top after. Also the pizza was supposed to have corn chips, when we got it home, we thought we may have been mistaken about this, so we checked the website. I called the store to ask about this, and the woman who answered simply said, "Oh, we haven't had corn chips for a very long time." When I asked why their website hadn't been updated to amend this, she shrugged me off saying it must have been forgotten. Now, as stated earlier, I'm a fairly new customer, so how was I to know that their website wasn't up to date, and according to their staff members, this was outdated by YEARS. I found her attitude to be incredibly nonchalant, and was made to feel as though I was in the wrong for even questioning her "authority," she simply said she would let her manager know to change the website. Maybe he has a time machine, I don't know, but if that were the case I wouldn't be writing this post. When I asked for him to call, he didn't. When we sent an email, he didn't reply. Ignore the good reviews. Nobody who has used Google to submit only terrible reviews instantly chooses to submit 1 glowing one without other interests. Fake reviews...

I have ordered pizza from here several times but that ends now. I have never been treated with such nonchalantness. Firstly we ordered 4 pizzas (2 with tokens as we had 20 of them & was told this was perfectly fine) but only got 3, when we talked to the store they flat-out refused to give us the fourth one without paying again. Secondly after discussing this with them they agreed that a pizza would be delivered to us shortly. After an hour we called back as the pizza had yet to be delivered, they replied that "no we changed our mind and will not be delivering the pizza" & when asked if they had planned to tell us this the said a firm NO. Thirdly as a little note to everyone out there collecting the i love pizza tokens, apparently (despite the confirmation that 20 tokens was fine) you are not ALLOWED to have to many of them. I am chocked that the cost of one pizza & delivery was worth more than me & my friends future business. The lack of service and frankly the arrogance of both the staff and manager will keep me from ever going back and i will let everyone i can think of know to...

Everytime we have ordered here there have been issues the first time we set pick up to 7:30pm, to where we were called at 7:00pm to see if we could pick up the ordered because they didn’t read the ticket (don’t offer specific time pickups if you can’t do it!) and had made the order, once we told them that we could not come earlier and that’s why we selected a pickup they presented us with the pizza they had made … at 7pm, the pizza was cold to which they reluctantly remade the order. Second time we were scheduled to pickup at 6:30pm, when we arrived they had forgot to make the ordered, we had to wait 25 minutes for the pizza. Finally today we ordered for pickup, we arrived and on arrival they forgot to make one of the four pizzas. So we had to wait for them to make the one pizza they had forgotten whilist the others got cold. This is the last time we order from I love pizza, their lack ability to read instructions and lack of customer service skills is appalling. Not sure why anyone would...
