Short Review - if you want sub par service and luke warm food delivered by incompetent diversionary drivers order from here. Otherwise steer clear.

Unfortunate experience last night.

Ordered from Menulog at 840pm and the delivery arrived at 940pm, it's a little longer than they usually take but that's okay.

Driver couldn't find the place even though I put notes on the order so I went outside to meet him, that's okay.

Made mention to the driver that the delivery took a little longer than normal and he launched into diatribe how the shop is unorganised and not easy to deal with. He told me he'd picked up the order a full 30 minutes before I got my order, that explains why the food was cold because I observed him grab the food off the front seat, NO HOT BAG.

I accepted the order and immediately noticed the food was luke warm. Not ideal but I have a microwave exceot the garlic naan, that was ruined. I also noticed immediately that the contents of the butter chicken were all through the plastic bag, just a complete mess.

I called the store to let them know how dissatisfied about their service and how out of character it was for them and all I got was a grumbling unaccepting cranky old person who didn't want to know about the issues, even asked me why I'm such a whinger and why are there so many problems. She kept talking over me so there was no resolution exceot for that she'd get the boss to call me back today.

I don't expect that to happen but we'll see.

EDIT: They never called to chase this up, but they did blame the driver for the problems, the first sign of unprofessionalism is to blame your staff.

Poor form.

I will never order from your store again, I haven't finished posting my reviews around the place but I will because people deserve to know about the terrible management of this place. Considering we spend arund $250 per week on delivery for the workshop, you're the only ones losing out here.

I ordered take way to be delivered to my address by 8pm on the night I placed the order but never received. After waiting patiently 30mins past the expected time, I called the restaurant and enquired about the food and they thought I booked for the next day in which I assured the restaurant that I booked in the night I placed the order. Still no delivery. I doubled check that I included my right address and number in the order which was all correct. Called the restaurant the next day since I thought they got confused and would send on the new day they they thought I ordered for originally and the manager said the food got delivered that night to our address, knocked on the door and said the driver without hearing any reply left the food in front of my door. This was a blatant lie from the manager as we were patiently waiting for the food, never heard any knocks and could clearly see out of the window whether the driver came or not. My partner as a witness didn’t hear the knocks on the door or any evidence of food left out the front. Manager has offered no refund or compensation! Very bad experience and waste of time and money, will never order from Phukari ever again and strongly do not recommend to anyone that is thinking of ordering at...

We have been to Phulkari several times, albeit a while ago, and have enjoyed it very much and made a reservation online. On arrival through front door we were directed to go back out and enter through a dark dim alleyway behind the restaurant (no signage or anything). The waitress told us we could sit anywhere we liked as they only had another booking of 2 (warning signs as it was a Saturday night) We ordered 1 entree of samosa, 1 beef Masala, rice & 2 garlic naan and asked that it be brought all together. The samosa arrived after about 15 mins which we enjoyed. A further 45 mins later the rest of the order arrived (note that the other booking of 2 was the only other table there) The "garlic" naan was terrible, with a smear of probably garlic paste on it. We both had one mouthful of the "medium" beef masala, it was a shocker, so much salt it was inedible. We sat for a further 15 mins or so attempting to attract any waitstaff to let them know, they were nowhere to be seen ! I went to the kitchen to ask for assistance and after advising waitress that the meal was inedible nothing was done. We paid for our entree and went across the road to another restaurant.
