This restaurant doubled as the dream venue for our Post-Wedding Lunch back in September 2023. Federico and The beautiful Staff made everything from the food to decor and table settings, all-of-it Perfection.

Federico organised all details with us in person upon our first meeting, then a dinner a month before and the remaining via email. The response time on most of these were within an hour! We were so impressed and found it easy to make tweaks or discuss any quick questions.

We were provided with great menu options and deals. All the way from entree to desserts. In addition to this, they also provided alternatives for our gluten free guests and the kids. Overall we didn't have to change much, as we loved the traditional decor and music that they have set on any normal day.

We had approximately 35 people join us for our special day, all seated. The alcohol is BYO which is truly a tough find in Sydney.

The Big Day: All went smoothly. Both Federico and friendly staff members welcomed all our guests and liaised with us on the day for food timings etc.

The food came out hot and delicious. Every course separated well and in perfect presentation. From beginning to end our friends and family were left impressed; Everyones glasses of drinks topped up as the staff would check on the tables and ensure everyone was well accomodated. Coffee and tea requests had arisen mid way and this was no problem for them. Each of our guests left full and few took the leftovers for takeaway.

The place didn't feel crowded or overwhelming in any way. It was full of talking, laughter, smiles and our new favourite memory. We were well taken care of and enjoyed every moment.

Federico took care of us like he would for family, in every aspect leading up to this day and the entire day itself.

It's been months since, and though this review is much overdue; We can say we've remained lovers of the food here and the feeling we have of just sitting at a table, Whether it be lunch or dinner, gives us a great warmth and reminiscence that you wouldn't just be able to get anywhere.

Even better, we are remembered when visiting even after this day and feel like we are part of this family.

If you're looking for the Perfect Family-orientated, 'feels like home' type place to eat; Service that is personal and impeccable at the same time; A Menu that has authentic flavours and which makes you leave thinking.. What can I try next? You should be here.

Thank you Federico and Roma...

Seating/Environment: The restaurant is quite small but the interior feels very open and spacious. This is largely due to the massive windows. The seating overall is limited due to the small space; however, you will not feel too cramped or crowded. It is suited for big groups (need to make a reservation), casual hangs with friends and family. The counter where you pay was a bit odd though as there is a table right in front of the counter which made it a bit awkward to pay. I am not sure if they have that set up every day or if it was a once off.

Payment: The place accepts card payments

Staff: All the staff were all very welcoming, polite, friendly and were all extremely responsive. My only criticism was that given that it was such a small restaurant, it would have been nice if the staff offered to refill out water jugs after noticing that it was getting empty.

Food: The food came out within a reasonable amount of time. The menu has a good selection of Italian classics such as pasta and pizza. They also have steak and chips. We ordered the Risotto Alla Marinara ($25) and a Margherita Pizza ($18).

The Alla Marinara is a seafood risotto with prawns, calamari and mussels. The Risotto was cooked perfectly. The meal itself also was not too salty, which I often find to be the case for some risottos. The portion size was decent and there was a fair amount of seafood in the meal. The only minor issue I had with the dish was the prawns. They felt a bit dry and tough to bite into but other than that, the meal itself was very enjoyable.

The Margherita Pizza was also very enjoyable. The base of the pizza is very thin and the edges were crusty. While the pizza was extremely flavourful and was not overly salty, in my opinion it was a bit expensive for what it is worth.

Overall: I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are around the area and want to try out some good Italian food, you should feel fairly satisfied with your meal...

Looking for a gourmet pie for dinner, I stumbled across Roma capoccia accidentally thinking it was the spot cafe, realising it was the wrong place, and the spot cafe was closed I thought I'd check out the menu, the guy with the medium long hair was friendly, and let me know they serve pastries and pizza, he gave me a copy of the menu, to which I browsed and quickly realised none of the pizzas on the menu looked familiar, I asked what would they recommend in pizza, he asked what kind do I like, I replied something with meat, and he recommended one which he would recommend, the wait was around 20 mins, which could be along time for some, but it gave me some time to just sit and take in the ambiance of the cafe that evening, it was nice, warm, and inviting, and authentically Italian, it was relatively quiet, but there was a small gathering of about 7 or 8 Italian elders who looked like they had come to enjoy a meal, the owner came in and was engaged with everyone in the room, very intuitive and friendly, although I didn't speak Italian i could interpret the family atmosphere that was happening, it was a nice way to wait while my food was being prepared. I did find it hard to sit in an area close enough to the front counter as the only setting available were actual tables, but no big deal, the price was reasonable, I could have gone to Pizza Hut or dominos, 2 mins walk along belmore rd, but I wanted to try something authentically Italian. Well back home now, and what is my final impression of the food? Home style cooked, fresh, and a lot of flavour, I thick Roma capoccia is a nice Italian restaurant that small and quant, and has personable staff. Something different...

Chose to go to this restaurant for my birthday just out of reviews alone and was pleasantly satisfied with everything. It's a very quaint little shop but nurtured with love, the owner is very welcoming and takes the time to make sure the customers feel at home. The food might seem expensive but the quality is authentic and delicious, the pizzas are cooked perfectly with a variety of cheeses used besides mozzarella. Ingredients are generously spread for the pizzas, it feels good to have a thin yet packed slice, it makes for an intimate experience. The pastas taste great as well, the chewiness of the noodle is unique and pairs well with the pasta. The only thing I would recommend is cutting deeper for each pizza slice as it can be difficult to separate portions. But definitely a heartfelt and homely restaurant that any family will enjoy!

Not my cup of tea this pizza is. I tried Capriciossa and Via Crispi ones - judging from the name the second one would be crispy one but the thing is, all of them including Polpette al Sugo Antipasto has the same dough - the edge two centimetres were just plain dry and bloated. If you would imagine instead of pizza dough it would be oven dried lebanese bread it was exactly like that. Also, none of the pizza or antipasto were juicy, had to dip them in the Agnolotti sause so it would be at least chewable. Ordered via UberEats and everything came cold, had to reheat so probably added to how unenjoyable it was. UberEats may be the issue here but in the end it is about the venue to pass this feedback there. Not a 1 star because Agnolotti were passable.
