Kanji Fresh Sushi Riverwood — Restaurant in Sydney

Went here as we needed something quick to grab for lunch. Ordered 7 sushi rolls, waited as they make it, was the only one there when I came. As they were doing the rolls, another person came to order. (So the place wasn't really busy) Then they called me to tell me my order was ready, I asked if everything's inside the bag and they said yes. So I left and drove off. Me and my fam was gonna eat it in the car and noticed I was missing 1 sushi roll, imediately rang them to let them know that and they kept on insisting they have put everything there. To me, instead of apologising it just felt more of making me feel that I am lying. Why would I lie for a piece of sushi??? Went back and while they're making the sushi, their faces didn't look very happy. Would've appreciate an apology then try to tell me they've put everything in. Defensive instead of apologetic. Great addition to Riverwood and so happy to see them reopen again.The staff are friendly and the food is top notch.

What amazes me is during their reopening weeks they were able to fulfil so many orders yet maintain quality, delicious food.

I usually get the poke bowls for a "healthy" option. The portions are generous and filling.

The salmon sashimi is very nice and fresh.

Korean Fried chicken is the best in the area.

Special sushi rolls were made on the spot and generous in portion and sauces.

Okonomiyaki and takoyaki were very tasty as well and satisfies cravings.

Definitely see this as a place to go to on...

My husband and I have been ordering the fresh tuna poke bowls pretty much on a weekly basis ever since we moved to the area last year. The sashimi grade tuna has always been perfect, and the chefs are maticulous in their preparation and portioning of the bowls, which are fresh, and tasty as they are with the accompanying sauce, however the staff are always happy to provide additional condiments of soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger.
