I've been here many times to order their Durian Martabak. Simply the best, even better than the one in the city, Pecenongan at Enjoy Mie, cheaper too. The martabak so thick and fluffy. Sweet and buttery too. They do the thin and crispy martabak only Mon-Wed. Disliked other stuff on their menu though. Martabak manis is the only one they do well and very well known for. They have many varieties for the base, but so far Pandan is the best, the second is the original. It takes 20-30 minutes for the martabak to be ready. I normally call and order before I go and pick up so I don't have to wait. They also have them ready in containers at the grocery shop nearby, Kingsford grocery. They only do takeaways. And if you buy more than 1, you get one Sosro tea, the tetra pack size, for each martabak. It's a pity that they don't do deliveries. Nor can you order online on any of the platforms like Uber Eats, Doordash etc

Walked into what looked like a no-frills setup but knew I was in for something good the second I opened the box. This thing was a unit. The green pandan batter is fluffy and chewy with that classic fermented sweetness, almost mochi-like in softness but with the honeycomb shape and texture. The centre is stuffed with a rich, gooey mix of chocolate, crushed peanuts, sesame, and banana. It was very messy, indulgent, and unapologetically bold. The handwritten label on the box just added to the charm. The place itself has more of a takeaway feel, no dine-in but the product more than makes up for it. It brought back real Southeast Asian vibes, super reminiscent of min jiang kueh, but with that proper, nostalgic texture and richness you rarely find outside of Malaysia or Indonesia. Genuinely felt like something straight from a street-side stall back there, authentic, unpolished, and full of heart.

This small dark eatery is well known for its production of martabak that came in 2 versions: savoury (similar to Korean pancake) and sweet (similar to a crumpet). We ordered the pandan martabak with banana and peanut filling. It took a while to make but when it came, it was like nothing I have seen before. It was a giant crumpet the size of the frying pan with a crunchy brown crust, that was folded in the middle to contain all its fillings. The flavour was rich, maybe too sweet for some, but I enjoyed it with all the different textures. Besides the martabak, the eatery also offers a small menu of competent noodle dishes. Overall, the food is good but service is slow due to the small kitchen. The shop also looks quite run down and has a messy table arrangement.
