It was with great excitement that I discovered this cafe as it took me back to my childhood of delicious rotisserie chickens sold by milk bars and that my mom would cook for Sunday lunch. Unfortunately the chicken made here was a disappointment. It was dry and didn’t have much flavour. I think the cafe is a victim of its own success and they’re focusing on getting chickens out rather than cooking and basting them more slowly. The “large” chips were huge and chicken salt flavouring almost non existent. We ended up throwing most of the chips out. On the positive side, the Greek salad was great. Unfortunately that’s not enough to entice me back and I will be going back to Nandos which is actually substantially cheaper.
