Located in Waverley, you can find this cafe that’s been operating for over ten years, serving the public with fresh, healthy and organic food that sees interesting flavour combinations and excellent coffee to boot.
The cafe is bright and window seating opens well to provide fresh air, whilst also offering Alfredo dining. The decor has blue and white tones and some cool graffiti style art to its interiors. Seats are comfy with plump cushions and you’ll find this cafe to be comfortable and on trend.
Staff are friendly and take your order at the counter for takeaway or at the table for dine in. I’m a regular for coffee and often find that they remember my order. They having rotating blends for some of their black coffee or single O for the milk based. There’s also interesting coffee options from filter coffee served over ice Bulletproof coffee, grass-fed butter & MCT oil + whey protein for those on Keto diets or even an Espresso Dark & Stormy Bundaberg ginger beer w/ shot of espresso!
If you’re not into coffee, there’s a range of other drinks too including fresh juices, smoothies, prana wet chai, beetroot, turmeric lattes, tea and kombucha.
For the food, the cafe offers all day breakfast and extra items for lunch from 11:30 onwards. The counter also showcases pastries and healthy slices.
I go here a lot and like that the menu has unique offerings that focus on freshness, healthy and creativity. From a Raw breakfast salad, turmeric scrambled tofu to coconut chilli eggs or raw chia-oat Bircher, there’s something to suit many. Whilst at lunch, I recommend the Spiced cauliflower salad, fish curry or naked burrito bowl.
My favourite dish is the paleo Burger DF GF (no bun) which makes it dairy free and gluten free. With a grass-fed Angus beef patty, beetroot relish, tomato, pickles, rocket & poached egg, this is Super tasty. You can add vintage cheddar (which I do) or avocado. The meat is juicy and nicely cooked and it’s a delicious meal, and not too heavy for lunch.
Always recommend this place for a great...
Read moreI had a horrible experience there early this afternoon 10/3/25. I ordered a coffee mid morning and it was fine. Small flat white, probably give it 8/10. I went back about midday and ordered the same again. The girl that made the coffee that I bought earlier took the order this time but she did not make the coffee. It was a different barista. I just hoped it was going to be of the same standard. Same coffee, same milk, same machine. Unfortunately though, the coffee was absolutely awful. It was tepid, weak and looked a funny colour. I took one sip of it and put it down near the cafe and wondered what I should do. I went back about 5 minutes later and saw that the first girl was near the register and the other girl was not to be seen. So I ordered again telling the girl that someone has bumped me and spilt the coffee that I just ordered. She processes it and to my horror I saw the second girl (the one who can’t make coffee) appear at the machine. All I could do was hope for the best and sure enough this one was worse than before. One sip and this time I just left it on one of their tables and walked...
Read moreYAY for Rubys dinner!! Family friendly and relaxed, this is a beautiful and well thought out establishment. There aren't many places like this in Sydney let alone Australia. Consistent and friendly staff, with a great menu full of varied and smart choices. Yes, it can be very popular on friday mornings and weekends, but turn that frown upside down, this is a testament to it's increasing popularity. And even though I'd like it all to myself you have to either go early or prepare to be patient. The wait will allow you to do some great people watching too, so sit on the steps and try an iced latte from the boys and girls behind the bar, who are always quick with a smile and a cheeky grin. Secret tip: Its also the best place to get iggys bread when it's sold out everywhere else, don't tell anyone I told you so though, the locals...
