I should have read the reviews before wasting $90. I ordered 2 chicken fried rice, chicken omelette with gravy, steamed rice, Mongolian Beef & Honey chicken. The fried rice had massive chunks of chicken on top of it not even stored in or mixed with the fried rice, the eggs of the fried rice was probably the pieces of egg cut from my omelette order. I opened the fried rice & out came a disgusting smell, it didn't have any flavour to it, the rice was dry but oily. The omelette was floating in gravy, the chicken pieces in the omelette was hard & tasteless. The honey for the honey chicken was it a separate container which is weird, also it wasn't a tick honey it was more watery texture. That didn't taste delicious either, there was burnt batter pieces in the honey chicken. & no flavour to the chicken or honey, all I know was it was sweet, it didn't taste like honey at all. The Mongolian beef was probably the only decent dish, but it didn't have enough flavour like the authentic Mongolian beef dish has. This was my first time ordering here & it will definitely be my last. I can't believe I paid $2 for plain black chopsticks. This is definitely not even close to Chinese food, no flavour & the food isn't even fresh. I do not recommend this...
Read moreMy partner and I mistakingly ordered from here online instead of the Happy Inn Chinese Restaurant in Penrith. At first, we didn’t care - it supports a business, it’s still local and it wasn’t horribly priced. We ordered the fried duck maryland with “chips”, where there was no more than a perhaps a child’s handful and were undercooked and cold, the honey chicken which was cold and the sauce was more akin to a slime you would find in a kids toy box, and the special fried rice was stone cold too. Even the prawn chips were stale. The ONLY thing this place seemed to get right were the fortune cookies, and that’s only because they’re mass-produced and sold to just about every Chinese restaurant in the country. Considering the food took no more than 10 minutes to get to us, I’m genuinely concerned as to why the food is even this cold. I sincerely feel for anyone who has to be associated with this “restaurant”, because I’m sure they cop their fair share of abuse over the quality of the food. Most definitely will not be returning, even if someone offered to pay...
Read moreI have ordered here for a long time and never any issues. I ordered fried rice with my meal tonight and the prawns are raw. We couldn't eat it due to food standards as I am a retired chef by trade. I ordered B'n'J's Triple Caramel Chunk and I get sent Half Baked. Sadly not impressed. You have just lost a customer. If you have a female by the name of Hailey/Haley working there then fire her, she has made my life hell with her boyfriend Brad. My new chinese restaurant cooks the prawns before putting them into fried rice. And I used to enjoy your food for so long. Everyone I have spoken with in Penrith and Kingswood will avoid your store. They listen to me as I was a chef for 25 years, and first restaurant I worked in was Wenrose Gardens at Mt.Riverview. If customers get treated like what I got treated like then your...
