Was super thrilled to see that another vegetarian store has open up in Canley Heights as the other vegetarian stores in the area did not taste so great and the meal I received were cold as they were all pre-made. Simple Asian exceeded my expectations on both the food and the service. As soon as I stepped foot into the store I was greeted by a man and he asked how many people were eating. Feeling so welcomed because other vegetarian stores I went to the workers don’t pay attention to the customers coming in until 5 minutes later. I ordered the bun thit nuong & cha gio (vermecilli noodle with grilled soy “pork” and spring rolls). Not many other vegetarian stores I have been to had this food option they either had bun cha gio or bun dac biet. The food was only $10 which was really cheap since other stores charge $11-$12. The chef gives a generous amount of grilled soy pork and the spring rolls were large and fresh with great fillings inside. Can not express how amazing the food and service is here! I’m not even a vegetarian or a vegan but I’ll definitely be coming back.

Unfortunately this vegetarian place was a let down for me. We ordered Bun Rieu (#43 on the menu) and Bun Mam (#44 on the menu). In summary, the soup broth for both noodle soup was very watered down. There was really no flavour there. It was just bland. The noodle soup that I ordered (Bun Rieu) was suppose to be a tomato soup base. Overall, there wasn't much toppings and the soup broth itself should have been fragrant with an exquisite tangy flavor! It was a very disappointing...Don't think I will be returning here.

Vegan restaurant in Canley Heights, possibly the only one? Vietnamese style. Recommended is the eggplant hotpot, but plenty of choice from the extensive menu Plenty of parking in adjacent streets and Council car parks, but a space may be hard to find at times. Update March 2024. Vegetable Laksa curry disappointing. Laksa was great, only vegetables seemed to be potato. Nothing else. Too many noodles to fill the bowl. But still recommend the rest!

I ordered the crispy skin chicken and tomato rice, I ate it all up as it was good! Personally, I did find that the chicken was a tad bland and flavourless, I think they could definitely improve it with some more seasoning, I personally think - (if anyone has gone to WORLD VEGAN in Cabramatta), they have a really great crispy skin chicken that is better. I prefer it and highly recommend. Nonetheless- The soup I received along with it wasn't even hot! It was a bit colder than lukewarm and a bit bland too. I think a good pinch of salt could help their food taste better as salt draws out taste. I loved the tomato rice that came with it although it could use a little salt in it too. The menu is quite confusing in all honesty and I suggest they re-do it. Servers try their best to communicate in English which I highly respect. It is really awkward to talk to them behind the counter though because you don't really know where to stand since theres a table blocking the front, theres books or menu's stacked high so its hard to see the servers and standing on the side feels a tad bit intrusive since its close to the kitchen entrance. Overall not a bad experience and I can't wait to go there again for my...

Came here with my friend. The food was good but what ruined it for me was the horrible service and the way we were being treated. We ordered entrees and then mains. Naturally an entree is supposed to come first. I got my main, then 20 minutes later our entrees came, then my friends main came. The can of Coke I ordered from the start didn't come till after we finished eating an hour later. I asked three different waiters for it around 6 times throughout the time there. I ordered the same main as someone sitting on a nearby table. My portion was half the size of that persons and when I asked a waiter why, they had no explanation. I told him I'll only pay half of what the main costs as its not fair that this other customer and myself ordered the same thing yet she got double what I got. I asked her if she asked for extras and she said no. It also happens that my friend and I were the only non Vietnamese/Asian people in there. They were surprised when I gave them an earful in...
