Honestly, the only decent thing about this place was the music and spending time with my family. I ordered a Caesar salad that was absolutely drowned in what tasted like bottled Mexican dressing — not even close to a proper Caesar. There was zero service; we had to ask for someone to clean our table even though the place was practically empty.

Then came the absurd payment system — everything had to be done by scanning a code. How is that fair to elderly customers who don’t use smartphones? It made the whole ordering process frustrating and inconvenient.

To top it off, we were charged $25 upfront simply because we brought our own birthday cake — and for what? Paper plates and wooden spoons. No effort, no class, and certainly no justification for that kind of charge. You should be embarrassed to take people’s money for such poor service and lack of hospitality.

I called to make a booking in the bistro and was told they don't make reservations. However when we were leaving I noticed a table of 4 had a reservation card on the table and we were a family of 13!

The food wasn’t any better, uninspired, and definitely not authentic Italian. Overall, a complete disappointment. If it were possible to give zero stars, I...

I usually try to be positive when leaving a review, but I was really confused and underwhelmed with this establishment. Being a local and a frequent visitor of the previous restaurants at this location , I have watched and waited through approximately 3 years of renovations, looking forward to this eatery opening. The thought of being able to walk across the road and have a good , healthy quick meal when the thought of cooking is too much. Unfortunately, after the meal we had on our first visit, I'll have to reconsider actually ever going back. Honestly very expensive for what you receive. 5 star dining prices in a noisy room, concrete ceilings with no noise dampening. 5 star dining prices , no table cloths. 5 star prices, 2 star service $ 9 for 3 THIN SLICES of toasted Italian bread with garlic. (4 people at the table ?) $10 schooners And the quality of 3 of our meals was really below average. Trying to be accurate, and fair, I can't see our family...

Everything about this restaurant screams quality. The staff are highly attentive, making sure all out needs were catered to. In my case this is my nut allergy. They made sure to make note of this when bringing out all the dishes.

In addition to this, the staff were so friendly and really helped when deciding what we wanted to eat. Their enthusiastic attitude made the environment so warm. Honestly 10/10 service. I wish there was a higher rating.

The food was a whole another level. It was incredible. So much flavour in everything we’ve ordered. My favourite would definitely be the steak and pasta. Honestly, I recommend everything, from the 6 dishes we ordered, it was evident that all the dishes were made with love.

I’m also not a fan of alcohol but the pomegranate mojito is a must ordered. 3 of those did the trick for me !

Definitely coming back, the beautiful staff, chefs and food made it a night remember with...

Tonight, our party had the pleasure of dining at Skinny Tony's really italian restaraunt, and it was an unforgettable experience. Giuseppe Santoro outdid himself by cooking one of the best pizzas and pastas we've ever tasted. The crust was perfectly crispy yet soft on the inside, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Our server, Pierre, provided exceptional service. His passion for the craft was evident, especially when he explained the flour used for the pizzas. All organic and free of preservatives, the ingredients truly made a difference in taste. Pierre’s knowledge and enthusiasm about the food added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. Overall, the combination of outstanding food and top-notch service made for a perfect dining experience. We highly recommend Skinny Tony's and look forward to our next visit. Bonapetite!

Not terrible but also not a place I'd go back to by choice. Food was tasty but lacked salt, meatballs were nice but had tough chewy bits inside them. Portions were also very small (and this is coming from a 50kg person) compared to most other Italian restaurants (yes I get it's inflation but at least reduce the price if you're going to be stingy on portion size). After our mains we decided to get ice cream which cost $5 a scoop, which I saw being scooped out of tubs labelled "Peters" which costs $5.50 for a 2L tub from Woolies, just to give you an idea of the inflation. Anyways to summarise I left the place hungry and underwhelmed. I really don't understand how this place has a 4.5 average, people in five dock must be easily impressed I guess.
