Great lunch spot from work. I order the Vermicelli Noodle bowl with lemongrass chicken. Good size servings, freshly made and friendly service. Usually quite busy at lunch time with scrounging office building employees. About $19 for bowl and a soft drink. A bit pricey but worth it.

Been away for the week on business and had enough of breakfast buffet so came to Social Eatery, first time in two years. The breakfast and coffee equally superb. Service to the table excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this to you. Very satisfying tummy sized serving.

Ordered the pho and found the serving size quite small for the price. It was tasty so if you don't eat much it is worth trying. The place does feel trendy and nicely decorated.

I feel obliged to write a review about this cafe/restaurant. First of all because I know firsthand how dirty the kitchen is and the poor quality of some of the food, such as the chicken, which is disgusting, not fresh, and who knows where it comes from. I don't know how that kitchen meets the minimum hygiene requirements, nor do I understand how the employees put up with a tyrannical and misogynistic manager who creates a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere, especially when the establishment is full of customers. I have seen with my own eyes how the manager loses his composure and education (with customers and employees, both) because he does not know how to manage situations with a large crowd of people, which is quite ironic given that he works in the hospitality industry. I could talk about an endless number of unpleasant gestures received by this person, the bad feeling he generates in the team, which is why there is so much staff turnover ( And by the way, he foolishly thinks he makes a good coffee, but... he has no idea what a good cappuccino is ). Sincerely, the loyalty to this establishment is due to the fact that the great majority of the consumers are workers in the building, not because of...

Food is ok, very overprice for the quantity you get. Their food keep getting smaller and smaller. Half the portion for vermicelli noodle salad ($14) these days compared to what it used to. $2 extra for a spring rolls that keeps getting smaller by the day and hardly anything inside them anymore, mainly just the fried spring rolls skin. And $14 for small tasteless fried rice. No thanks. I'm not going back ever again. They are always busy because lack of competition in the area. It's better to go to a Vietnamese place near...

A quiet and unassuming cafe, Social Eatery flies under the radar beside its busy and flashy neighbours and provides an outstanding experience. Over my three visits, every meal from the takeaway smashed avo to the basic green chilli scrambled eggs and the more exotic emoji mushroom bruschetta in the their dine in menu were surprisingly delicious -and very reasonably priced. Lovely coffees (Campos) and a waiter who remembers your face and coffee order on the third visit! Food and service done...
