Have bought the Julius in the past and it's been ok except for the odd slimey lettuce. The Julius has good flavour and with the chilli oil I would normally give 4 stars. Today however I thought I would try the slow cured beef brisket. Horrible. It is NOT brisket. Brown watery oily thin sliced beef that taste like the hospital roast beef I used to have when I was a sick kid in the children's hospital in the 80's. The coleslaw was sub par. Lacked zing but also possibly effected by the meat. The sourdough possibly may have been nice but by the time I walked out of the shop and sat at a bench (20 meters) the bread had dissolved into an oily mess. 3 bites and I had to throw it out. Really dissapointed...

Returned for breaky Friday and ordered the same but forgot they had lactose free milk (many other places don't offer it, I found). Before making it, the barista came over to me and asked if I wanted lactose free because I had asked for it on the Tuesday. How ace is that?! I'd only ever been there once in my life. Coming from Melbourne, and having frequented St Ali daily for months on end, never did any barista there ever recognise me and remember my order. Ipso facto Stacked Mascot is better than St Ali,...
Read moreI get lunch from here once a week at least. The bowls are fresh and a good variety. I think so far I have tried them all and only one didn't meet expectations. The favourite is the Fiesta bowl followed by Naughty Schnitty on cheat days. And their cheese toasty is really good too. For a snack the pcokets are perfect. The sandwiches are OK, I find them a bit soggy and not worth it. Same with the burgers. The shop changed management recently..I miss the previous team a bit as they were really nice. On busy days it pays off to order through the app an pick it up as there can be a long wait. Good option in an area where there aren't many...
