Sonoma Bakery Bondi — Restaurant in Sydney

I visited this bakery and was very impressed! I bought a sourdough loaf that was excellent: soft, with a crispy crust, and a truly authentic flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care in its preparation. I also had a cappuccino made with specialty coffee, which was perfectly crafted. The place itself has a very refined vibe, and I’d definitely recommend it for fresh, high-quality bread. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to try the pastries, but they looked incredibly tempting. Disappointing food and coffee. Ordered poached eggs and avo on sourdough. First off, gave me bacon when I didn’t ask for it- no wonder it cost more than I expected. But nvm that. For a roughly 20 dollar bfast, it sure was one of the worst poached eggs I’ve ever had and for a bakery they didn’t know how to toast their bread. Can’t tell it was sourdough as it tasted like cardboard. The avocado was the only thing they did not mess up. Coffee below average, very weak. This part of Edgecliff road needed some sort of cafe and Sanoma is the perfect fit. The way the cafe is set up you don't feel as if you're sitting a main road. The coffee is great and the glass cabinet that displays all the food looks too good not to try. All the fresh food such as bread, muffins and sandwiches are made daily.
