Despite a cloudy, windy day, I headed on over to Anita Bondi Beach for some of the best gelato!

We asked the amazing team to surprise us with gelato flavours but also requested that they include the two limited edition Christmas flavours.. ‘Gingerbread with Caramel Cookies’ and ‘Pecan Pie’ because they just sounded amazing! The Pecan Pie was my definitely my favourite.

As well as their famous gelato, they also serve frozen yoghurt. This was so light and refreshing. The fresh fruit gave it a little tartness which I love, as it can break up some of the sweetness. Highly recommend trying it if you haven’t before!

Another surprise were the waffles. These were just delicious. Not too dry and they were perfectly paired with with nutty chocolate drizzle, fresh strawberries and of course, gelato!

We were also given a trio of sorbets which was the winner for me. Every time I go for gelato, I always order the sorbets. The lemon/lime with mint was my favourite. This was super refreshing and it would be the one to order if you’re visiting after a big feed at one of the many surrounding restaurants in Bondi Beach.

The gelato here is truly a work of art. They’re all finished beautifully with amazing detail on some of them. It doesn’t stop there though.. walk on over to the toppings bar down the end and choose anything from delicious sauces to fresh fruits to candy and take your gelato to another level.

An Unforgettable Chilled Experience at Anita Gelato! 🍦✨

I want to share my recent visit to Anita Gelato, where I discovered the most incredible ice creams I've ever tasted. My experience was so exceptional that I needed to share with you all the details of this delicious journey!

From the moment I stepped into Anita Gelato, I was greeted with a welcoming atmosphere and tempting aromas. The variety of flavors offered was impressive, and I was eager to try something new.

The customer service was equally delightful. The staff was more than willing to help me choose between flavors and even offered tastings to ensure I made the right choice. Their passion for artisanal ice cream production was evident.

Now, about the ice creams - each spoonful was a burst of authentic flavors. From classics to the most unusual flavors like Sicilian Pistachio and Passion Fruit with Ginger, each choice exceeded my expectations. The creamy texture and quality of ingredients were palpable.

The ambiance of the ice cream parlor was charming, and I could enjoy my selection in a cozy space. Additionally, the presentation of the ice creams was impeccable, showcasing the care dedicated to each creation.

Anita's does good gelato. We were spoilt for choice in flavours - I found it so hard to choose! Staff happily let us try a few flavours to help decide. I eventually settled on a regular cone with mango and macadamia cream ($9.90). I preferred the macadamia gelato more than the mango. It was studded with lots of macadamia nuts and was very creamy. It had a great flavour and was probably one of the better macadamia gelatos I've had. My friend also had a regular cone with macadamia as well as pavlova and mixed berry. The pavlova gelato was really good. It was creamy and had just the right amount of sweetness to it with the tanginess of the berries off setting the sweetness. Serving sizes were generous. The reason why I gave Anita's four stars, though, is because out of all the gelato and ice cream stores I have been to, this was the most expensive, for comparable size and taste.

Service was impeccable! There was a long line of customers along the front of the store and out the door, yet we weren't kept waiting long. There were a lot of staff members working.
