Soul Mill Woodfired Pizza — Restaurant in Sydney

I wish i can give minus star to these guys today. Ignorance, rudeness and no customer service at all and all these from owner itself. Ordered for 2 medium pizzas and waited for 40 mints, after 40 mints went inside to ask as what's happening with my order? Apparently, they mixed up with some other order and gave my pizzas to someone else. Very politely advised them its ok as its last day of the year, such mess ups are acceptable :) Advised them that i can wait, please make again, that's ok. Imagine reply form owner - sorry i cant wait. We got one large pizza here, we can give that to you or take your refund? I said what - i am the one who been waiting for well over 45 mints and you guys did mistake, now this is the way to react. instead of sorry and trying to rectify mistake, i am being told off to go away with no food. My politeness been taken in wring way by owner here..its totally unacceptable. I, myself got 3 businesses in rockdale itself for well over 10 years now - never experienced such a bad customer service and rude behavior, specially from owner. God bless you all - you have lost our business for ever for sure. Bit of smile, little politeness and ability to accept your mistake will go long way in getting business grow. Ok people. This is my new favourite place in Rockdale! You must come here! I've been meaning to come here to eat for at least 6 months and I finally brought the family for lunch. We just finished eating and I was compelled to write a review immediately. We ordered a meat pizza, a chicken oven burger and a protein plate. It was the most delicious meal I've eaten in a long time. I'm currently on a keto diet and couldn't care less about carbs, but when the bread was placed on the table and the smell wafted into my direction....my god! I had to try it. It most the most tender, delicious and fragrant bread I have ever eaten. The protein plate was a big serving of tender and juicy cubed chicken breast, beautifully spiced kafta, a large serving of Greek salad, both toum (garlic mousse) and humos, with 3 slices of bread. I became a fanatic from the first mouthful. The other dishes on the table looked and smelled amazing and the others really enjoyed the food and the serving size was generous. At lunch time, you can get a wrap or a (oven) burger or a pizza with a can of soft drink or a coffee for $10! BARGAIN! I will...

I ordered two XL pizzas for take-out, and they were large, well-made, and flavorful. The crust had that perfect wood-fired crisp, and the toppings were fresh and generously portioned. For the quality and portion size, the $48 deal is a fair price, and I would definitely consider coming back for another order.

The only reason I’m not giving five stars is due to a hiccup with the advertised pricing. When I called in my order, the employee on the phone wouldn’t honor the $48 deal listed on their website, claiming it had changed. Unfortunately, there was no way for me as a customer to know that, which came across as misleading. The situation could have been handled a bit more professionally, and I hope they update their website or better train staff to address these issues moving forward.

All in all, the pizza was good—not amazing—but certainly worth trying again. With some improvements on the customer service side, this place could easily become a go-to spot for...
