I had placed an order for vegetarian biryani from this restaurant yesterday midnight and unfortunately, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the experience. Upon receiving my order, I was dismayed to discover that the vegetarian biryani I had specifically requested contained slices of meat. As a vegetarian, this oversight was not only disappointing but also unacceptable. The inclusion of meat completely contradicted my dietary preferences and rendered the meal inedible for me. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and inconvenienced. As a customer, I expect accuracy and attention to detail when placing an order, especially when it pertains to dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, the error made by restaurant has resulted in a negative and horrible experience for me.
I appreciate the response from the owner, but I feel it’s important to clarify my experience. When I ordered the vegetarian biryani, I received a dish that contained what I believed to be meat, which is why I was disappointed. I apologize for not responding sooner; I wasn’t aware that replies were possible. I understand that mistakes can happen, and I wasn't seeking a refund, but rather hoping for an acknowledgment of the oversight. It’s essential for restaurants to take dietary restrictions seriously, as they directly impact customer satisfaction. Additionally, I noticed that it took nearly three months for my review to receive a response. Timely communication is crucial in addressing customer concerns effectively. I hope this feedback can help improve future customer...

Be any cuisine.
There are certain areas in this restaurant which will definitely remind me of #Not to depend on #reviews No matter what the review stands, go with your instincts.
Plates served with 1 spoon and 1 serviette, (plates were wet - height of negligence) 😂
We ordered Veg Biryani, Garlic nan and mutter paneer. Plain lassi and mango lassi. Felt as if they added whole turmeric powder in my lassi.
Veg biryani was alright, Garlic nan- even the minced garlic was fake coloured. Mutter paneer- absolutely freaked my mind- felt as in they used ages ago frozen gravy and paneer.
The attendant brought the food and hurriedly went away. The etiquette should follow to serve the food on the table with a serving spoon, so for the gravy and biryani we told the attendant to bring us the required.
The attendant wore shabby clothes.
The evening's thunder was stolen by the washroom. Uttermost shabby bathroom. My full appetite was blown away. There is no quality of food but ambience is so so. I will not come again and won't recommend it too.
These days hygiene and cleanliness is the headlines in every corner of the world, as a customer and nothing was according to my...
Read moreWe recently ordered food from Indian Biryani Restaurant (IBR) Rockdale for my son's birthday party, catering for around 45 adults and 25 kids—and I must say, it was a phenomenal experience from start to finish!
We ordered veg biryani, mix veg, Hyderabadi daal, noodles, chilli paneer, and shahi paneer. Every single dish was bursting with flavor, served hot and fresh, and beautifully packaged. Our guests couldn’t stop praising the food—especially the biryani, mix veg, noodles, and shahi paneer. The chilli paneer was a bit on the spicier side (as expected!), but it was still a crowd favorite.
A special shoutout to Rafi Bhai, who personally ensured that each item was prepared to perfection. His attention to detail and commitment to quality were clearly reflected in every bite. The prices were incredibly reasonable considering the generous portions, quality, and overall taste—we genuinely believe no one in this region can match IBR on value.
Thank you so much to the entire IBR team and Rafi Bhai for making our event so memorable. I highly recommend IBR to anyone looking for full-party catering. Order once, and you’ll become a customer for...
