Spice Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Sydney

The food was decent but the customer service was DISAPPOINTING. They charged us for spring rolls which we didn't order and on top of that they charged us 50cents extra for steamed jasmine rice ($4.50) eventhough on the menu it's ($4.00). We went up to the counter to let them know and with an annoying face they took the spring rolls off the bill but were extremely adamant about not changing the price the actual price of rice on the menu They said it's in the system so we can't do anything about it.

Then they went around the restaurant checking each menu to try to prove to us that it's a different price but couldn't find the proof. Finally they were saying some nasty words that they think we couldn't understand behind the scenes and even one waitress shouted at another waitress presumably for not changing the menu (happened in front of us)

They gave us some smack about wasting time for 50c but eventually changed the bill to the correct amount. We paid and left. Now I'm not one to complain about 50c but just think how much extra money they're making per day from this miscalculation by misleading customers.

Here's an idea: 50c x 50 customers per day is $25 unjustifiable profit.

Think about that next time you go to this restaurant and if you end up going....PLEASE check your bill at least 😂

Americans looking for somehwere close to our hotel. Nice on the phone when I made a reservation, and stayed patient when I had poor cell service. When we got there, they were waiting for some people to get up; within 45 seconds of the people leaving, the table was cleared and ready for us. It took a moment for them to take our order, but it was straight forward, and the food came out really fast and hot. Our water was tended to. Tom Kha soup bowl was excellent, though the bowl feeds about two people, which wasnt exactly clear when we asked. Pad si ew more flavor than Im used to back home in california, which is good, and the yellow chicken curry was insane. So tender I would have believed it was pork, and the potatoes were cooked well. Brother had high marks on the beef panang. Chicken satay really good too. Only negatives were that it was pretty hot in there, and it wasnt very spacious, but once you were at your table, you had enough room. It was kind of loud, but we went there to eat, so the space and sound didnt bother us as it may some. So good, we almost went back the next night, but made the dire decision to go to...

0 STARS! Absolute joke for service. Will never order from here again.

Ordered via uber eats food took 2 hours to arrive (red curry, spring rolls and a roti). Finally arrived and it was the wrong order.

Managed to arrange for the delivery driver to take the wrong order back to the restaurant, so they could replace it with our correct order and also agreed all of this over the phone with restaurant.

Followed up 30 minutes later, they refused to remake it and was told "to speak with Uber".

3hr 30 minutes $50 down and no food.

Still don't understand why they were unable to send our correct order...
