Because it claimed to be the best best burger in Sydney, I already had high expectations and tbh they didn’t disappoint. I ordered two burgers; the big chili with the meal, chips and only Pepsi max for the drink (no coke) which to me is weird and the Smokey Robinson (beef burger). The chicken burger kinda reminded me of the burgers you get in Bankstown from Canterbury kebabs or watsup bros etc but felt a lil healthier since its not drenched in mayo (i prefer it drenched but again my preference). The good thing about little L is the buns, they’re so soft .. maybe too soft for some but Defs good and for around 15/16 a burger in Coogee it ain’t bad. I actually preferred the Smokey Robinson burger better great caramelised onions and Smokey beef flavour. The chips super crispy and salty and huge amount. DO NOT buy their chicken wings, it tasted like it’s been there for weeks (we got the bbq one) and I mean it was on display so it probably was lol but it was still edible. Its tight and we had a pram so barely fit inside or outside but the atmosphere and service was good 👍 also has a tap. Love restaurants that have no toilet but a tap especially burger joints where it can get messy! Altogether we spent...
Read moreRegular customer tried ordering a vegetarian alternative. Ordered Sash burger and requested a veggie pattie, which one would assume NO CHICKEN. I've always ordered from Bondi with no issue. As they weren't operating through Uber eats I ordered from Coogee. Tried calling both stores 3 times and no one picked up. Messaged store on social media. Ending up recieving a Sash Burger with 2 chicken patties and a veggie pattie. Sounds generous but not of you're veggie or vegan. So I wrote to the store and basically felt cast down upon whilst I've explained my issues with the business, wrong order received and poor customer attention. To shorten my story if you're vegetarian or vegan the Coogee staff don't seem to register that through an order, nor will they pick up the phone if you need to discuss dietary requirements. The Owner also won't take onus of the fact you've received chicken instead of vegetarian alternative. Not vegan/vegetarian friendly. Lost a regular customer. 😉 PS I never wrote reviews but was peeved off by this sheer ignorant response...
