Have been going to DS on and off in last 4 years. Tonight we went there to celebrate Mother's Day. Ordered mostly Ala carte servings of Sashimi, soft shell crab, karrage n etc. The usual Asian lady who works there as a manager was not on shift (not sure if she is there anymore) There were total of 3 to 4 groups of customers which consist of 1 to 2 pax maximum.

On the floor serving were 1 cashier, 3 waitress but the service was appalling. We were not given side plates as we were sharing n no one asked if we wanted drinks. We eventually managed to get our plates n ordered our drinks.

Food was ok but seriously not as gd as before. We noticed that the sushi rice on the salmon rolls with avocado (6 in a plate) from the belt tastes weird...weird as in the rice was weird...i duno how to explain it.

The thing tat pissed me off n therefore, i have to be here to write a negative review was when we were about to go and wanted the bill as the waitress will need to count our plates and etc. I need to wave quite dramatically as i failed to capture the waitress's attention as all were busy chatting though I am quite sure they could see me but none of them was willing to come...?! Eventually, a tall ? nepalese girl with shoulder length hair came to our table. She did not say hi and definitely not in a good mood. After she counted, she passed me the list and went off. When she was about to walked off...i said THANK YOU, she nodded her head n left.

Seriously, dun get into service industry if you r not willing to behave like a decent person with manners.

Oh... while we were waiting to pay, the same girl brushed against my left arm just to get past me...as usual no manners enough to say "excuse me' PS: if you are not happy to be in this beautiful adopted country dun come..... if u dun like to be in service industry....get a new job or just stay home when you eventually get citizenship or PR n leech...

I will write this as respectfully as I possibly can. I have been to sushi dragon several times and the food and service is ok. The last few times have been appalling regarding service and food quality.

To highlight few WHS concerns, staff do not wear appropriate PPE. I’ve seen a chef there cough all over the food and left immediately.

The quality of food is poor. The last time I went, the avocado was brown and still had skin on. The sashimi was chewy and discoloured with bone material left inside. The crispy Rice Bubble things were stale and the tempura was dry and old along with the rice being dry, old and crunchy.

I always order fresh due to the reason I’ve seen them pack old sushi into delivery orders and also had the same issue when requested a fresh order.

McDonald’s provides fresher meals and better quality service than this place.

My partner has food poisoning from our visit today from the chicken sushi dish he ate which is why I’ve taken the time to write this review. If there was a minus 5 star option I’d have selected it.

Worst sushi train I’ve ever eaten at. Very...

I have been going here since it opened, I have always enjoyed the food and service till recently. The past 2 times I have been there is a particular male that works there I am sure he is fairly new. He has a really bad attitude and is very condescending! Both times I have been there, there hasn’t been many people and been plenty of seats to pick from and this particular male employee wants me to sit right next to random people or right next a pole , and when I say no thanks, I would like to sit over there he shoves the chair back and makes me feel uncomfortable because I didn’t want to sit where I was told to sit. And then he continue the bad service not offering if I would like to order a drink or other dishes and when paying for the meal I was never asked if I was a member so I could use or add to my points. He would have to be one of the rudest people that I have come across in that kind of role. Everyone else there is very nice, but I won’t be returning again and either will my partner who experienced same person and did the exact the same...

To start off with, I was disappointed with the service. Despite being one of the few customers (photo), it took them 20 minutes to make just three rolls. I even followed up twice, but it didn't seem to make a difference. I noticed there were multiple chefs in the kitchen, making different rolls and other items for the train, yet mine seemed to be put on the back burner. It wasn't until the very end that they finally made my order, which only took a couple of minutes. This is not the first time I have this experience. Even eating there, the service is slow, however it is the only sushi place locally so options are limited. For the sushi, they serve, it is definitely not worth the price. Unfortunately, the customer service was not up to standard, and the sushi itself was just mediocre. If you’re in the mood for some good sushi, I highly recommend you explore other options.

Super solid sushi! They have the old style sushi conveyer belt which is awesome plus they will take orders. The sushi is quite tasty and is probably the most reasonably priced sushi I have ever eaten. I would definitely come here again and will if I return to Sydney. There is no alcohol but you can bring your own bottle of wine for a reasonable $2.50 corkage fee. Is it the best sushi I have had ... no, but is it great absolutely!

Busy on a Tuesday night, but only needed to wait 5 minutes for a table. Staff were unremarkable and service a little slow. Food was very nice but smaller portions in comparison to other Sushi / Japanese restaurants I've been to. Nice Sushi Train feature and Sushi Boats were novel. The photo wall was another clever feature. The kids spotted some pictures of their friends. A nice place. Worth a visit
