Absolutely terrible service. The server for the night made one of the most horrendous and obnoxious comment to me on my order when the table was ordering drinks. A customer should have the right to order what they want from the menu and not get humiliated in front of the entire table for their order. My partner and I werenât really planning on getting any drinks but since everyone was getting one we thought why not we could share one. Then all of a sudden I guess one of the servers were eavesdropping on us and literally started telling me off for having the audacity to share a drink. It started off as a harmless statement, until she literally just kept on going and going. No one at the table was even laughing in the first place and she just continued on berating me about my choice on until I literally started crying infront of everyone at the table. It was so humiliating and it literally ruined both my night and the night of everyone elseâs. She also did not even bother apologising to me?
What type of professional server shames someone for their order to the point where they start crying infront of everyone and doesnât even apologise to them afterwards? This is definitely not okay and definitely not how a customer should be treated. Absolutely atrocious behaviour for a server of a high end restaurant. I am still in disbelief that this actually happened to me because I actually thought it was common sense to not provoke someone past their breaking point and literally let them cry in front of everyone at their table without...

Read moreIâve been in this place twice. Itâs a year gap but I equally love both times we were at Takam. My first time was for lunch, chill vibes, we had the Beef Tapa, Okoy and Chicken Inasal. All taste true to our Filipino core panlasa. The chicken inasal is char grilled to perfection, the beef tapa was tender and the okoy for me was the star dish. Itâs crispy not greasy itâs like pasko (christmas) in my mouth.. I love how they have a variety of condiments as I am a saw sawan freak!!!
My second time was for dinner. And I am truly mind blown as they have elevated their menu to the next level. Overall experience was nothing but stellar. We almost had everything from the menu because we came as a big group. Probably the loudest! Lol! My personal favorite was the Fremantle octopus black garlic adobo -star dish! I donât normally eat octopus but they nailed this like no other! Toyomansi market fish collar if you are someone who enjoys eating meat from the bones like me this is for you. Flavours of toyo and calamansi is well balance! The Ensalada, mignonette and the spanner crab fried rice are a must! We even ordered a bottle of red wine coz it was that GOOD. It was good food, good company, good vibes and literally Filipino...
