Taste Baguette — Restaurant in Sydney

Very poor service this morning very disappointed. Ordered two pork baguettes and a mango smoothie, waited close to 30mins. Someone had ordered bacon and egg rolls just before me and it appeared they were cooking one egg at a time when the pork was sitting there and just had to be cut. They had plenty of staff and could have just quickly made my baguettes. The whole time the drink I ordered for someone else sat there melting and was no longer icy. When I finally received my order I asked for a bag as the baguettes were sticking out from the top of their wrapping and would make a mess in the car. They had the audacity to charge me an extra 10cents separately for the overall inconvenience with their service. I have been a regular customer of this shop for the last few years as I am local resident but all over 10cents I will not be returning. The food and beverages at Taste Baguette is indeed fantastic. But, the team here is the true heart of the café. You can tell that Taste Baguette genuinely cares about each and every customer. Every morning, they manage to brighten our day, not just with their delicious croissants and lattes, but with their genuine kindness, attention to detail, and positive energy!

A special thank you to one barista who always starts my mornings on the right note! This young lady not only brews a cracker coffee, but also shares a little kindness and warmth through her friendly attitude and great service. Whether it’s a friendly greeting, remembering my favourite order, or just being there for a quick chat, she always plays a part in starting the day off right.

I recently visited Taste Baguette Cafe and was extremely disappointed with the service. The staff member who served me had a lot of difficulty understanding my simple order in English, which led to a frustrating and confusing experience. It felt like she was pretending not to understand, making the interaction even more uncomfortable.

I believe good customer service is essential, and unfortunately, this encounter did not reflect well on the cafe's reputation. It's crucial to have staff members who can communicate effectively and create a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
