The Foundry Cafe — Restaurant in Sydney

The Asian lady owner of the Cafe has such a bad attitude towards customers, I ordered grilled chicken chips salad, I noticed the chicken was precooked and I insisted on having fresh cooked to take away, the owner showed me an attitude that she normally shows her husband and workers in the Cafe. Zero manners, zero customer service, have been visiting this Cafe for the last 20 years, she is the one that stands out of the crowd, in a bad way of course and the reason I will not step foot again there. The worst thing is when she speaks her language with her partner and you know she's saying bad things about you, then she looks and gives me that FAKE smile and ugly ear...

Ordered an Iced Coffee and got given a standar hot one. So to correct my order, the lady took $1 from my change and she added say 5pcs of ice cubes in the HOT coffee, and there it is ICED COFFEE... seriously the coffee turned almost warm, and when I got home I just put it in my fridge to make it somewhat cool. You'd think to make me a new one instead of what just happened. I was in the rush to ask and wait...

Grabbed lunch there the other day, saw the hotbox and made a b line for it. I expected the usual, but they had heaps of made up beef, pork and chicken rice dishes (can’t remember exactly what they’re called but the pork was unreal) as well as the usual hotbox options.

The new owners are great, make you feel like you’re at grandma and grandpas getting nice home cooked food. 10/10 I’m going there...
