Decided to drop in with my wife on Sat 18th for a bit of lunch . We only wanted a small meal so got the chicken wings with the garlic sauce 500 g serving and the Caesar salad .”Some time later” our meal arrived and the Caesar salad looked and tasted great and a decent sized serving ,UNFORTUNATELY we added the chicken ,so chicken Caesar salad .the chicken was pre cooked ,not freshly cooked , and lacking any decent flavour ,salad was great .”Chicken wings “were exactly the same pre cooked ,not freshly cooked AND only 2 chicken wings and the rest were chicken legs ,go figure! Came here for dinner with my fiancé’s family, was disappointed with the food quality. I ordered the fried chicken burger and unfortunately it really wasn’t worth the price. The portion size was more like a slider than a proper burger and it only came with a small handful of chips, which felt underwhelming for the price. On the positive side, the pizza we tried was tasty and the atmosphere of the pub itself was enjoyable. It’s a nice spot to relax, let the kids run around and have a drink. Hands down the best pub I’ve been to! We had the pleasure of taking our 3 young kids here for lunch and were so impressed. Could not fault the venue itself (brand new, amazing fit out, nice and cosy on a cold winter’s day), food (not your average pub feed, much better but with great pricing) or service (very friendly and accommodating). The kid’s area just blew us away - it was lovely to be able to have our kids play before and after eating and carry an adult conversation with my husband while we enjoyed a slow meal.
