I’ve been a loyal customer since this açai shop opened, but after today, I won’t be returning. Arriving for a family Valentine’s Day treat, with my three young kids ordering their own small cups, and my husband and I getting regular sizes. The total came to $87—price increases are understandable, but the quality and service should match.

In the past, they were generous with their toppings and sauces, making every bowl perfect. But today was a huge disappointment. The extra toppings we paid for were barely there—just a light drizzle of pistachio and biscoff sauce, and the coconut shreds were laughable (I could literally count about 15). On top of that, the middle of my açai bowl was empty—just a hollow scoop, not properly filled.

To make matters worse, when I placed a second order another $36 for three small açais to take home for friends, they got the order completely wrong. Instead of just blueberries and açai as requested, they added granola and strawberries. When I went back to get it fixed, one of the staff members gave me a blank, smirky look as if I was speaking another language. Thankfully, another young worker was kind and apologetic, but the attitude from the other girl was absolutely disgusting 🤢 and unacceptable. I will not be a customer for a while due to significant changes in portion sizes. The acai component has drastically decreased, the acai soft serve is now very thin and mostly filled with too much granola, with just one small strawberry and half a quarter of a banana. The small and regular sizes of the acai soft serve now the same amount. Previously, the cup was filled with a proper amount of acai and toppings. I also paid extra for biscoff crumbs, but only received about a teaspoon, mixed with granola. While the granola is placed at the bottom and top, I expect the full portion of biscoff crumbs I paid for. I asked the man in the shop if they had sorbet/icecream but they told me that they did not. I walked down the road and saw someone who had exactly what I was asking for. Although they told me that they did not have what i wanted, I got a protein shake instead and it was so nasty. It had random chunks at the bottom and it was so horrible. It was also overpriced at a whopping $10. I went down the road and got a large fries with nuggets for the same price. Also, I asked the man at the stand for an extra cup like 4 times but he could not hear me properly.
