We had a wonderful 2 night stay and will do again. The area is fantastic in the heart of the eastern suburbs and close to the beaches and Centennial Park. Coffee shops, cafes and dinning options are abundant, go there hungry so you are ready for a festival of amazing food culture. We had 2 fabulous breakfasts at the hotel - we knew the food was extraordinary - we didn't appreciate how next level it would be! Our room had a balcony and a view across the roof tops with gorgeous appointments and very comfortable bed. What ever you need just ask and it shall be done. Bathroom size generous, a beautiful feel, amazing tub for a soak, shower seperate. A very gently scented room to be relaxing in. A welcome evening drink and delicious snack -more like entree in its portion, was sublime - flavours so well balanced just what the doctor ordered ! You need more time really to use the facilities and explore the area. Two nights is not enough! Our main dinner was in the Saint Peter Dining Room. Each staff member is so well trained and delightful, the degustation menu is truly an event of epic proportions. We loved the theatre of it and admired the alchemy. What an achievement that this is being done here, in Australia. Big congratulations to Josh and Julie for their incredibly hard work, creating a team with care and thought and producing a product that is just fantastic on all fronts. I loved the thoughtful elements of the space right down to the crockery . Everything and everyone feels generous. The experience will stay with me forever and we will certainly go back again to stay!

We did the dine and stay package as part of our anniversary tour of top Australian restaurants. St Peter was an amazing journey and I bought my first book too - not that I one of the Nilands - however I am super inspired to up my game on sustainable eating. It was also great to have Josh and Julie present some dishes to us. The rooms in the Grand National are amazing, and food and service in both experiences is top notch. A photo of my favourite dish.

Take the Saint Peter 3 Hats experience (Michelin star equivalent in Aus) and make it a hotel… yes, it’s that good. Big thanks to Danute and all the team for paying attention to the smallest details and making our stay perfect. The interior design, amenities and breakfast were ultra luxurious. Leaving this one was hard—I’m so ready to come back!

Everything about this hotel is top quality. Chris welcomed us and took us up to our room. Our bed was huge and the white linen was thick and cool and fresh. The pillows were thick and fluffy and so was the doona. The toilet paper was 3 ply and the shampoo and conditioner actually was good for my hair! There were bathrobes and free snacks and drinks in the mini bar. We got a chefs taster as a welcome snack - just the beginning of the most delicately and deliciously constructed food we were to enjoy at the chefs table that night and for breakfast the next morning. Having access to the chef as we ate our 11 course degustation menu was educational, welcoming, friendly. Then for breakfast we had a three course meal of fruit and ricotta with granola, a Marron tail with scrambled eggs on sourdough and then a beautiful prism of golden banana bread! Our stomachs ached we were so full, but there was no way we were going to miss any of this delicious food. The service, the amenities, the food, the way the people made us feel cared about and welcomed made this an exceptional experience that we will...

We came on Saturday afternoon for my husband's 60th birthday celebration. We checked in with the wonderful Chris who was impeccable in his checking in procedure and welcoming us to the Hotel and the most beautifully appointed room. The interiors of this Hotel and Restaurant are so gorgeous with the highest attention to detail with the room, the minibar, the amenities. Everything was so thoughtfully delivered our welcome gift from the Chef so delightful. We met our daughters in the bar and had cocktails and champagne and then on into the Restaurant for the most incredible degustation menu. Not only was it a magical experience with food and wine it was such an amazing education in all things from the sea from the staff, including the animated and quick witted Hayden. It is with such mastery that Josh has creatively used all these cuts of fish and seafood. What a magician. The breakfast was another highlight and we look forward to...
