Cirque du Soleil’s LUZIA was an unforgettable experience, celebrating the vibrant spirit, colors, and rhythms of Mexican culture. For 2 hours and 5 minutes, we were transported to a magical world where tradition met artistry, leaving the audience spellbound.
From the moment the show began, the stage came alive with breathtaking acrobatics, captivating choreography, and awe-inspiring visuals. The performers showcased extraordinary talent, blending athleticism with storytelling. One standout was the contortionist, whose fluid movements defied logic, leaving everyone gasping in amazement. Equally mesmerizing was the juggler, whose skill and precision made him one of the best acts of the night.
The show was a sensory delight—lush backdrops, evocative music, and a kaleidoscope of costumes that truly captured the essence of Mexico’s rich cultural heritage. The artistry of LUZIA went beyond performance; it was a heartfelt tribute to the country’s traditions and vibrancy.
The crowd was electric, cheering loudly for every daring feat and flawless routine. It was a house full of energy and excitement. Unfortunately, a storm briefly played the villain, causing a half-hour interruption. But the resilience of the performers and the enthusiasm of the audience brought the magic back to life as the show resumed without missing a beat.
LUZIA was not just a performance—it was an emotional journey, a celebration of life, and a testament to the boundless creativity of Cirque du Soleil. Despite the weather hiccup, it was an evening to cherish, leaving us in awe of the incredible artistry and the soul of Mexico.
These types of shows we can see only in USA & Australia.. never in Nepal or India… such a lovely culture this is....
Read moreThe Good: Cirque du Soleil – Luzia absolutely delivered! I’ve been a long-time fan, taking my kids (now grown-ups) to Cirque since they were little, and Luzia was just as magical as ever. The acrobatics were mind-blowing, the set was stunning, and every detail kept your eyes dancing across the stage trying to take it all in. Foolkoller—the original Cirque clown—was an absolute standout, with hilarious audience interactions and expressive charm that pulled everyone in. The Entertainment Quarter is always a great venue, with smooth security, comfy seating, and a setup that makes every seat a good one. I especially love that this has become a tradition with my adult children—it’s something we all look forward to and cherish doing together.
The Room for Improvement: As always with big shows, the merch and food can sting the wallet a bit—but it’s pretty standard fare for this type of event. Just be ready to pay concert-style prices if you're planning on snacks or souvenirs.
Would I Return? Absolutely—already got my tickets for the next show in Sydney! Cirque never disappoints, and Luzia has only made me more excited for what’s to come.
The Verdict: In conclusion, Cirque du Soleil – Luzia is a feast for the senses. Whether you’re a first-timer or a returning fan, it’s a magical, theatrical escape worth every second. If you haven’t been, add it to your must-see list—just don’t blink, you’ll miss...

There were a lot of talented artists but I do not think they had a chance to show their potential. I guess the majority of money were spend for light and water effects which was nice but the actual show is below average. We bought tickets 11 months ago and we expected much more. I feel scammed...
