This restaurant is below average, the food was just OK. I ordered the DIY veg goi cuon which came with decent flavoured cha gio which was the only positive thing about the dish. Service was terrible the young server was pretty much useless, my dish came with nuoc mam instead of the peanut sauce that was listed on the menu and when asked if the hoisin dipping sauce for the goi cuon was coming, she brought over soy sauce so i had to call over the owner to request for the peanut sauce. After tasting the peanut sauce it was pretty much pointless putting so much effort in getting the right sauce because it tasted terrible. The drink we ordered also didn't come and had to wave over the owner half way through our meal to make it for us. Despite having only 2 tables to serve it was almost impossible to wave over any of the waiters.
Overall food was average and service was below average, won't be coming back to...
Read moreIt's a long way from home. I usually come to VBites for a quick meal after seeing my chiropractor. His clinic is just cross the road.
I don't eat out much in general as most restaurants are lacking vegetarian dishes. Take away today after chiro treatment. Absent-minded and lingered low back pain while I was there. I walked out of the restaurant without paying.
I was embarrassed to be called back to pay my meal. The shop owner didn't mind and said it was a genuine mistake and told me not to worry. I then paid and still felt quite uncomfortable the whole way home.
I figure the best thing I can do is to give his restaurant a good review for the kind-hearted owner and his humility, and no doubt the good quality food here.😊

Read moreNot bad. We visited on a Sat night. Early dinner 6.30ish. The only place we could find close to station that was open. We were on our way to the Train Station. The Pho was great. Loved the broth and everything in it. It was massive too. I'd go back for that. Also tried the rice paper roll and the sauce that goes with it was tasty and nice. The sizzling beef was good so hubby says, however he a day old, tough rice, better for fried rice or garlic rice, not a fluffy or steamy and fresh one so the whole experience for him was a dive even though mine was okay. So 3 stars I'd go back for the Pho if I'm in the area. The service wasn't as bad as well, was quick and to be expected for a...
