My partner and I waited in the queue for a table. The staff said there will be 10-15 minutes wait and we have to wait outside. As it was raining and windy outside, we requested her if we can sit in one of the reserved tables for a bit and will move as soon as the people come. She said no, it’s too risky we have to wait outside. We waited outside in the cold for more than 20 minutes. There were 2 reserved tables, no one came during the whole wait. Not a single staff came and asked if we are okay or apologised. 30 minutes past, the reserved tables were still vacant. I asked my partner to just go somewhere else but he was too polite to stay and said “let’s just give them a chance”. I had to go and sit inside the car as it was freezing, but my partner still wanted to wait outside. No one came to attend. We had to leave after all. We understand that reserved tables are meant for the people who booked in advance but the staffs should learn basic ways to treat their customers. And how to keep their customers. This was very disrespectful and disappointing. No apologies from the staffs at all. You might think there are not many cafes around so it will get busy anyway but if you keep treating customers like this then i am sorry to say you will lose people really early that you think.
