I'd like to express my gratitude and I guess this ultimately becomes a review of my experiences. I was never of interest in commercial cafés, I had been to an XS before but it was literally once. This branch opened in Revesby, and I've never looked back. The energy is positive, the vibe is lively and most of all comforting. The food, made fresh, clean and no customers appearing in discomfort after a meal. You could have come from any walk of the day/time and be met with a smile, a calm nature and gentle hospitable approach. Notable mention to Jacob, Amila, Natasha & Tillie (who was not even from this branch but hopefully moving forward she is). Thank you for Jacob's nonchalant random 'are you ok's', being mindful of his co-worker's wellbeing and gentle training, Amila's improvisation with meals aligning with my dietary requirements, not compromising on policies & procedures, reflecting leadership qualities, Natasha's consistent memory of orders & making sure no dairy & little details, while providing a smile, Tillie who've only met today with her kind, calm nature & respectful approach to last minute extras, Randa making sure I have water available at random amongst other qualities. There is something quite spectacular about this type of environment and team, which you don't often find in hospitality, even through busy hours and times, the overall crew manage & handle. Exuding leadership qualities, an array of strengths, and inclusivity of all; thank you for turning this Customer Service to Customer Experience. I often find my way back & even do some laptop work on days when I need a break. You never fail my customer experience & comfort. God bless you all, and thanks for the surprise & comfort of authentic...
Read moreFirst visit, last visit! We seated ourselves after waiting! No cutlery after we received our entree, we had to ask twice as only one was given first time and we were 3 and the female literally threw it on the table. Perhaps takeaway customers should picked up their orders away from people dining in. We sat at the table by the door and we were surrounded by customers standing talking and coughing waiting for takeaway orders blocking door way! Burger was messy loaded fries were cold and drenched in bbq sauce my chicken pasta with pink sauce just too sickening with too much sauce! The female waiter needs training on customer service and manners, she asked 3 times in less then 15 min to take away one menu left on our table, so we can order dessert until I got annoyed and told her to give up and leave it. She had no clue on customer service and kept coming around asking if we’re still waiting on anything after putting our drinks down .. when clearly our table number was on our table waiting for food not just 2 bottles of drink we could’ve got from the servo if that’s all we wanted! We left unhappy and had dessert else where! If your looking for an uncomfortable lunch with staff who harass, disturb and annoy you when your trying to enjoy your meal then this...
Read moreI am absolutely appalled by my experience at XS Espresso in Revesby. Your menu advertises halal options, which is the only reason I decided to give this place a try. I specifically ordered a halal sandwich and made it clear that I do not eat pork.
To my absolute shock and disgust, I discovered bacon inside my sandwich. This is not a minor mistake – this is a complete breach of trust, and for people who avoid pork for religious reasons, this is deeply offensive and unacceptable.
Halal means no pork, no bacon, no contamination. Misleading customers with “halal” claims while serving pork is not only unethical, it’s dangerous for anyone with religious, ethical, or dietary restrictions.
I feel completely disrespected, and this experience has ruined any trust I might have had in your business. If you cannot prepare and serve food correctly for those who request halal, then do not advertise it at all.
This was not just a bad meal – it was a serious violation. I will be warning others in my community about...
