Zarraffa's Coffee Bankstown — Restaurant in Sydney

Been coming here for years since it first opened. Loved the convenience of a drive thru especially on a weekend after waking up and going for a cruise in the car.

But for real, the quality has dropped off a cliff lately...

Even Maccas coffee is better at this point and maybe even petrol station coffee is comparable? All I really order is a simple cap, but most of the time it's a watered down latte with no froth or chocolate. Just got one today on my lunch break from work and it genuinely tastes like it has burnt plant material in it (reminds me of cbd/thc oil, no joke). It's the most feral thing I've tasted in ages.

The cross sell thing you've got going on for your 'single origin' beans is quite deceptive as well. I imagine most people who are unfamiliar with it are just saying yes thinking it's your normal beans, instead of a premium bean that costs an additional $1. I get it, you're a business, but it's pretty dodgy the way...

Got there a couple minutes before they closed for some takeaway coffees. I immediately got the Vibe that they were trying to avoid taking my order because it was close to closing time, and sure enough they avoided me for 2 minutes and then turned around and said "sorry we are closed now", we tried our best to convince them that the we'll minimise our order from 5 coffees to 2 but all the girls kept repeating sorry we have seven coffees to do and we are closed now. I stated to them that we walked in before the closing time but they were adamant they didn't want to do our coffees.
