I have driven past this place soooo many times. always saying to myself, I've got to try that place. Well, today I did and I wasn't disappointed. I had a bacon and cheese burger. Awsome burger bun, really light and soft and the burger had such a home made taste. Actually it kind of reminded me of when I was a kid and you'd go to the local milkbar for a milkshake , burger and fries. The good old days. I've seen alot of people order the potato scallop to be served in there hamburger. Definitely going to try that next time It's so delicious, I guarantee you won't be dissapointed. Great coffee! The takeaway fish n chip menu has all the classics. The potato scallops are amazing, a thick slice of potato in a light, crunchy batter. The fish cocktails are tasty bite-size pieces of fish, with a light, crunchy batter. I can highly recommend the bacon and egg roll with BBQ sauce (good serving of bacon). The burgers at George's are proper, old-school burgers and are fantastic. Their fish is great too, and their chips are awesome. George's has never disappointed - and the owners are super nice. But make sure you come with an empty stomach as the portions are very generous....
