I usually order on the app but when I tried to purchase the Christmas in July feast it wouldn’t let me on the app. I instead drove to the restaurant and when I went to the til I was told that it was a 30 minute wait for chicken. I said okay that’s fine I can wait. She responded with “umm no, sorry.” This was at 5:45pm! She responded with “we don’t have any waiting bays” so I said well I can park somewhere else and she responded with “ummm sorry no.” “We’re not doing any big orders.” But didn’t tell me what else was available and then asked is there anything else I could get you so I said it’s okay I won’t get anything. I even heard the car in the drive thru behind me and she said sorry we’re not doing any family boxes. Anyway I drove somewhere else and decided to come back and this time I went into the restaurant this time and ask for wicked wings and the file at the til said “hey can we do wicked wings?” Like is there no chicken at all? They didn’t tell me what they had when I was in the drive through but were saying “no no no” for everything.
Today I drove past just to ask if they were doing chicken today they said “it’s a 15 - 20 minute wait on chicken so I said again no it’s okay. People are contacting the ACCC as this is not the service that is expected with this KFC. It’s always inconsistent and there are rarely times where there is chicken....
Read moreOut of Pepsi, out of green tea, don't sell regular Sunkist. I regularly go past KFC to Macdonalds instead because KFCs drinks are so bad. No coffee, no milkshakes, just a choice of which of their limited selection of softdrinks they have in stock at the moment which you'll have to haggle for if you've ordered in the app because you've probably paid for something they don't have.
Out of chips, lettuce, and burger buns, that's some pretty bad stock management. Most probably because corporate punishes managers for waste, so instead of having enough products to serve people what they order. I have on numerous occasions had to ask... "What have you got?"
This is how corporate management run large business into the ground. By trying to save a few dollars on wholesale waste they lower the retail experience. Store managers should be incentivised to have the correct amount of waste, too little and they're adversely affecting retail customer experience, too much and they're wasting wholesale money. Track both, not just one or they will over correct.
I worked at kfc for 7 years and constantly saw managers run the stock down near closing time and turn most...
Read moreMy best friend and I were fiending for a bag but decided to get a bag of dirty bird instead and boy does it live up to its name. We decided a small serotonin boost from some “chicken” supplied by the Colonel himself and his kfc disciples would be a wiser choice for a Sunday night, boy were we wrong!
They told us it’s a 30 minute wait for our order after we had already paid. We sat in the waiting bay and finally decided to go in to the shop to follow up as it had been more than 30 minutes
Upon arrival we see a couple of staff members blueing. And screaming at each other like a couple of territorial enemy seagulls fighting over some (funnily enough) kfc at the beach
We finally get our order and even after ordering and paying for extra sauce, to our dismay they decided to gatekeep them from us as if they get a commission on how many aiolis they don’t serve
Overall the experience was a let down and we will simply just get a bag instead of food next time Atmosphere was great how ever (we went drive...
