Merry Christmas to you I just recently had the pleasure of enjoying some Christmas drinks and cheer with some Taree locals at this venue...Situated near the railway Station within Taree township I loved the quiet harmonious atmosphere that is generated within the Taree Railway Insitute Club... The staff I encountered were both friendly and helpful and unlike more popular venues found throughout Taree there was no real waiting time to be served a drink... The counter meals are also a great treat to enjoy as the chef not only knows his way around the kitchen but produces a great dining experience with traditional meals served at a cheaper price... So the next time you wish to beat the noise and atmosphere of a more popular venue for the peace and quiet of a smaller lesser known venue that still serves a tasty cold beer with a great menu consider the Taree Railway...

First time here for a long time, the club and restaurant have been up graded.Service from all the staff was excellent. We ate here and we were a little dissapointed with our meals , our friends have eaten here previously and had a lovely meal , however this night the meals weren't to the same standard. Parmy was great solid 8/10. Panko crumbs a plus. Needs to be more generous on salad dressing. Desserts were outstanding. Chocolate brownie was perfect. Banana spring roll - amazing. Service great, staff very friendly. Prices reasonable - on par with most other bistros.... cheaper than some. Being a bowling club clientele was a tad more mature so nice quiet...
