I'd like to detail that this review is of my own personal experience - your experience may differ for the better or worse. As soon as I arrived there was the standard wait before food was ordered, and when it was ordered it was standard procedure. However I was more than bothered by the diffefing times of meals, the first item to come out was a main 10 minutes it, entrees and other mains - my meal was the last to arrive - more than 40 minutes after ordering. This wasn't a special meal, others ordered the same meal and it came earlier. When it did arrive the meal was rather distasteful, I ended up giving half of it away. I sampled other meals and they were equally ordinary. Others I spoke to at my table agreed the food was to an average or below average standard. Customer service was satisfactory, the establishment was tidy and well organised to a standard viewer, and the prices were acceptable.
I do appreciate the service but I won't...
Read moreI'm not usually a confrontational person but my husband insisted that I go back to return a mistaken order. Was informed in a condescending, kindy teacher tone that I was the one at fault for saying "yes" when she asked "chicken?" but was given a soy sauce based crispy chicken dish instead of chicken satay.
Very first world problem, I know.
As this was my husbands order I very much knew I was getting satay.
I understand that refunding or remaking orders is a pain, since youve already used up product etc But I was shocked by the belittling tone and rudeness she exhibited in an attempt to escape responsibility. That's probably why i usually dont speak up for myself when things go wrong.
Ended up paying for 2 drinks and 2 meals but only getting one. So essentially paying double.
I'm sure the owners are lovely, but unfortunately we won't be...
Read moreVery disappointing. First and last time at this eatery. I know it is Australia but sure some chilli could have been included. It is a thai after all. No spice. Bland. No chopsticks to eat with (i asked). Server had no understanding of thai language. The pa nang laksa certainly had no relation to malaysian curry mee as expected. During the meal i sent a photo of the pa nang laksa to a chinese friend in Penang. She had no idea what to make of it. As i paid the bill i asked if the chef was thai. I was told they were. Could have fooled me. Typical Australian asian food... i will leave...
