The best thing about Tasmanian road trips are the lunch stops at all the amazing bakeries along the way, and this one is no exception. I like to consider myself a sausage roll connoisseur and have had my fair share of descent sausage rolls in my lifetime, but the ones here are mind blowingly good. There is also a great selection of sandwiches and sweet treats if you would prefer that. It got very busy while I was there and was quite chaotic, but it's all definitely worth it.

In the heart of Scottsdale, a cosy little town you will find this gem, open early in the morning, waiting to serve you with a smile. A lot of award -winning pies, coffee/hot chocolate etc and a lot of pastries and cakes. The lady at the counter helped us with directions to legerwood carvings (😩 no coverage if you’re not with Telstra ) Thank you!

Grabbed a delicious lunch from Cottage Bakery today. We sampled the pies, sausage rolls, Vegemite scrolls, vanilla slices and cookies and all were amazing! Can recommend!

A must stop spot for anyone visiting Tas. We tried multiple pies and all of them were delicious!! Some of the best pies I’ve had, especially the chunky steak. The dessert selection is next level, felt like a kid in a candy store. The custard tart and jelly slice both tasted like my childhood, most places don’t make them like that anymore. The staff were all incredible and friendly, can’t recommend...

Somewhat disappointed with the quality of food purchased recently. The chicken and camembert pies lacked any meat and contained far too much cheese which made the pie too sickly to consume and the sandwiches were made with way too much cheap margarine and were also inedible. Used to be a great bakery but now it seems the food is bulked up with cheap filler...
