Wandered in for a feed of chips and gravy. After a while waiting in an empty shop, a woman came from out the back and asked what I wanted. I asked for a small chips and gravy. It looked like the sign said Small chips and gravy $4.50, so I questioned the charge of $5.50. She said gravy was $1. I shrugged, whatever, I just want my chips and gravy. She hands them to me and starts to walk off. I ask if there’s any forks and she points vaguely to a spot on the counter and continues to walk out back. I’m left alone to find a fork and a few serviettes. The real disappointment however is the stingy amount of gravy. It’s literally made of a powder and some hot water, just ladle a decent amount on there, it’s a small price to pay for customer happiness, especially when you can’t be bothered to be nice to them in person. A bit of extra gravy goes a long way. Next time I’ll try their competition which is literally across the street and see if their service and gravy quantity is better. They still get 3 stars for the food since the chips were quite nice despite the lack of gravy. But poor service and atmosphere reduces overall...

I my opinion a hamburger with the lot is usually. Fried onions, lettuce, tomato, pineapple, egg, beetroot and bacon, with the beef berger. And what ever sauce, salt, etc. I would prefer to pay more for a normal berger with the lot that what 90% of milk bars are offering, rubbery plastic wrapped bread sitting under lights, with zero fresh anything. Its not just Dinos its most places these days. I now buy beef mince and all the ingredients from what ever supermarket is closest and make my own bergers. I haven't found one decent berger in or around Launceston in a while unless you want to pay huge dollars. These businesses are putting themselves out of the market, by not catering to customers...

Young man took my order but didn't write it down. Then a young girl came and asked if I remembered what I had ordered then she wrote it down and took payment. I had ordered minimum chips with 2 pieces of fish and some fishcakes. When I picked up my order I was given a package then the young man asked if it was the right one. It wasn't so they opened the other packages to find the right one. I was then given a minuscule paper bag with revolting chips from the bay marie. The fish had uncooked batter and was burnt on the outside and swimming in grease. Altogether a terrible experience and meal. The previous owners were fantastic but I doubt that I will shop...
