This is a nice cafe along Esplanade in Coles Bay that has a fair sized indoor seating and outdoor tables as well. Opening hours are 8am to 3pm daily with evening hours of 5pm to 8pm (Thurs to Sat). Menu is a nice range of cooked Aussie brekkies and what was being served to awaiting patrons looked great.

We recently popped in for take-away coffee orders which were prepared well, Macchiato was strong with fair amount of milk to temper the espresso but without overpowering its good flavour. Long Black was just fine. Really liked the moist carrot cake which we enjoyed a bit later on in the day as part of our hike in the National Park.

Would happily stop again here for take-away coffees or to have a sit down meal based on what we watched being served...

Lovely coffee that managed to keep a few Melbourne coffee snobs alive during a holiday with a 1 and 2yo.

Food is good but not stellar - I think they do a fair job considering their location and staff numbers. More maple syrup on the French toast would be great - although maybe that’s me?

They play upbeat tunes the entire day (edit: a customer just walked past me singing along), have little blankets and pillows for their outdoor seating and are friendly.

They use the public loo across the road, but it’s very clean and only a one minute walk (if that).

All in all, a solid cafe with good offerings and perfect in you’re staying...

Our large group was really happy with the options and service. We dropped in for lunch unannounced and they handled the sudden increase in orders really well. It was great to be able to sit on the deck out the front and enjoy the autumn sunshine and filtered views. The barista was super friendly and the coffee was great. It was great that coffee and meals could be ordered via separate queues meaning that people wanting only coffee were not kept waiting an unreasonable amount of time :-) There was a good happy vibe amongst the staff that overflowed to those queueing for food and made the...

We had dinner here with 3 more people, we spent an average of $35-40 each. Service was good, we asked for an add on that wasn’t on the list and they actually did it for us. For three of us the size of the pizza was perfect but one of us thought it could be a bit bigger. Decent variety of beers/drinks. Umbrella available as well as cushion and blanket if it’s cold. Vegan cheese option available at extra $3. Many cute details that make it comfy, cosy and cute.

Outstanding service from all staff; personable, polite, and professional. Exceptional food. The yummy chocolate croissants with the almond latte were my choice. Rob, next me, had the toastie and said, "It looks like eating now." Sumptuous groans of delight was all I heard for a while. Varied menu kid friendly with great indoor and outdoor dining as well as quick takeaways. As Arnie said, " I'll be back."

Paid about AUD54 for 2 persons breakfast on 29 Apr 2024. The breaky brioche was great - fried egg was a bit runny, hash brown was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The custard tart was smooth and the crust was good buttery taste. The curry chicken pie has sufficient curry taste and chicken filling. Service was friendly. Ambience was relaxing.
