What a wonderful experience a sitdown breakfast of scrambled eggs and tomoto for me with a terrific coffee. All served with a smile and no fuss. So many other great offerings as well, big breakfast which must have been massive, as I had an absolute platefull with my choice and it only $10 (see photo). Lots of different breads on offer as well as pies pasties and other savouries, sandwiches ready to go and made to order. Of course all the sweet things you usually see in a bakery were available as well. YUM Thankyou once again for a great start to a long day.

This is the most absolutely terrible curried scallop pie. Worse than I could even imagine. Where do I start? 1. There is literally zero curry flavour. 2. The whole pie is not that warm to the point that the curry sauce is basically cool jelly. 3. The pie is so dry that the sauce almost feels like flavourless, unbuttered mash potato. 4. Don't get me started on the scallops.

I was disappointed that at 1pm there was not chicken, leek and mushrooms pies left. I asked if they had any more. They went out the back and got me a pie. I don’t don’t where this pie came from, but it was barley warm. The crust was not flakey, the base soggy. The pie filling was actually very nice, with big chunks of chicken. Pity it was lukewarm.

Updated review with one less starafter visiting again a few days later.. Ordered a chicken burger from the hot box at lunch time and it was terrible. Dry bread roll, tough schnitzel and soggy tasteless salad. It should have been removed from the hot box and binned hours ago. I should have returned it after a couple bites for a refund but I was starving, Lesson learnt on my end

Great selection of food options, bakery, sandwiches or hot box takeaway choices. We ordered a couple of different Pies, at first they looked pretty standard pastry wise but inside exactly as described. Obvious effort to make the flavours as stated. We ordered a lamb, scallop and butter chicken, latter being the favourite Friendly staff and lots to places sit and eat and with proper crockery when dining in. Only suggestion is turning up the pie warmer temperature as the pies were just warm enough, a hotter pie would also better suit the...

Had high expectations given the reviews, ended up somewhat disappointed. It’s just average, not bad but not good. Scallop pie was flavourless and soggy, bacon and eggs on toast at $15 for two cheap supermarket white bread slices, warmed through bacon, eggs and sachet tomato sauce and butter was outrageously poor value. This was roadside diner quality at double the price. Normally one to refrain from writing negative reviews, however compelled to share my experience - keep your...
