“A Memorable Culinary Journey at Tasty Bite”
During our son Luke’s visit, my wife and I decided to treat him to our favorite restaurant, Tasty Bite. From the moment we stepped inside, the warm ambiance and friendly staff enveloped us in comfort. The recent addition of soothing background music further enhanced the atmosphere.
The mysore masala dosa and schezwan masala dosa were bursting with authentic flavors. The crispy dosas, generously filled with aromatic spices, paired perfectly with the accompanying chutneys. And let’s not forget the irresistible onion bhaji—crispy and golden, leaving us craving more!
Chef Suresh surprised us with Vada, savory fritters made from lentils and spices. This delightful dish has now earned a spot on our “must-have” list.
In these challenging times, the restaurant’s BYO (Bring Your Own) alcohol policy is a welcome relief. No corkage charge makes it even better!
Yet what truly stole the show was the personalized service. Chef Suresh’s heartfelt dedication to each dish was evident, and his wife, Aruna, served us with grace and genuine warmth. Their pride in their craft shone through.
Tasty Bite remains a hidden gem, and we’re already planning our next culinary adventure. If you find yourself in Beaconsfield, don’t miss this gastronomic experience!
A heartfelt thank you to Suresh and Aruna for an...
Read moreWe thought we'd try this new restaurant in Beaconsfield. Quite a few restaurants in the area have closed during Covid restrictions, so great to see a new one opening up. My wife and I are experienced eaters of both Indian and Sri Lankan food, so we were excited to see the many traditional Indian meals on the menu. The menu isn't comprehensive, but when I asked for a number of meals that weren't on the menu, I was told 'no problem' by the Chef. So, the food was very good. The impromptu meals were also very good. The Tandoori platter was interesting in that everything wasn't red like you normally expect. The chef appeared to use slightly different herb combinations, which tasted lovely (a bit like baked tandoori herbs). I found out later that they have a Tandoori oven, so that explained why the naans were top notch.
Decor is plainish, but clean and well maintained. Prices are very affordable and meal sizes are also good. Service was excellent. The chef came out and had a chat after we'd finished our meals. A very nice person who obviously loves to cook. He said they will have a license to serve alcohol in the near future, so BYO wine until then. We're very much looking forward to going back and trying some the other items on the menu....

The food at Tasty Bite is nothing short of fantastic. Each dish radiates with the rich and authentic flavors of India. I was particularly impressed with their dosa, which is arguably the best I've had outside of India. The crispy, paper-thin exterior combined with the delectable potato filling was a sheer delight for the taste buds. It's evident that the chefs at Tasty Bite take pride in preserving the essence of Indian cuisine.
