Wowowowow, it’s always a treat when you see batch brew on the menu when you’re travelling regionally but the deeper we dug into this partially hidden gem the more we were gifted with immense deliciousness. This place really goes to show the power of top notch ingredients and food made with care. A concisely executed menu, each dish I had here was excellent (we went back for a second and third visit) the interior design of the place is just gorgeous and you look out to Tathra beach, a bit of sun and that light ocean breeze. And that’s before you even eat. So many delicious sweet treats. Dope toasties. Oh and you gotta try the fish burger, trust me. Had their drink of the day cocktail, a creative twist on a spritz. Each dish comes with sumptuous garnish from someone’s special garden which puts the Melbourne micro herb movement of the late noughties to absolute shame. There’s also great produce and thoughtful collection of ceramics and other biz to up your stay at home coffee game, but if you lived here why would you ever stay home when you’ve got the wharf local to come to? The staff are also lovely folks, the owners are the kind of people you could chat to all day if you’re lucky enough to catch them at a quiet moment. A place to come and stay, definitely put it on your list when you’re in town. Oh and before I forget they have fresh baked kardemummabulla here and they are pretty perfect, I haven’t popped one of these in my mouth since the Stockholm days, save room...

This place has great potential, however, unfortunately due to disorganisation we waited an hour for our coffee and food. We were told it would be a half an hour wait, but took much longer and watched people ordered their coffee after us, receive their order first.

Recommend the owners implement a table number/docket system so orders get delivered to the right people. As we were told our coffees were sent out half an hour ago, but to the wrong people.

We had a bacon and egg roll that was delicious, however $24 is a bit steep for a breakfast roll. We also had a ham and cheese ‘toastie’ which had great flavours but unfortunately it was warmed bread with cold ham and the cheese hadn’t even slightly melted, seeing we waited over an hour it was really disappointing. The coffee was great.

I think this cafe would be great to visit in off peak times. If everything went to plan, this would be a 4-5 star place to visit, the view while you eat is gorgeous and the food has a lot of...

Mick & I popped in for coffee, ended up with a ginger scone, marmalade cake, cold brew & an excellent coffee. So dam good, stayed for lunch which was the best fish burger we have ever experienced topped off with a freshly squeezed OJ. This venue is something else, the decor & ambience you have created is divine, I didn’t want to leave! The view, wow! Then there’s the presentation, omg, looked like something out of a Michelin 5 star chefs hat food magazine…the colours! Congratulations to your young staff for making us feel welcome with their smiles. If I had to write something on this review that was a tad disappointing it would be the lady in the kitchen that produced the magic, (I’m thinking a manager) was quite short & rude when one of her staff asked her a question. It’s off putting for ur customers to witness this. Your staff do an amazing job. Overall if I could give this place 20 out of 10, I would do so. On our travels we would stop off at Tathra just to visit this...

Such a cool spot! Delicious offerings of food. We had our dog with us and the wharf does not allow dpgs to enter, but the cafe has setup a table at the top of the wharf before you enter for customers with dogs. This had a nice view, we loved it so much we returned 3 times for breakfast. We ordered the huge bacon bun and some pastries. All absolutely delicious, and the best coffee! The owner was very helpful and recommended us to visit Bermagui when she knew we were on holiday. And we had a great time there too. We were lucky enough to be able to sip pur coffee and watch whales swimmong by very close. An absolutely unique and stunning place! Inside is so rustic and charming also. A must see. Tip: not much parking out front, better to park at the top of Tathra whale watching headland and walk a few minutes down the platform to the cafe.
