Good Friends Roast Duck House — Restaurant in Thornlie

There's a common theme with all these google reviews - terrible customer service. The lady who served me was very rude and ill-tempered, I felt pressured to order quickly. As i was ordering, she would say some items werent available, which wasn't a problem to me, but then proceeded to prescribe other options for me and scribbled down on the ticket (in a rather aggressive manner) her own selections. When I decided i didn't want what she had selected, she (again, aggressively) scribbled out her own order and took down my order, and ordered me to "pay for that" - I could tell this was not a language barrier issue, she was clearly being intentionally rude.

As i was walking out I overheard a few other exitting customers also say how rude the lady who served us was. The pork was sub-par, the duck was actually good but not good enough to make up for the poor service and not worth the price. Sorry you've lost a customer - and it seems a few more too.

Your responses to other people's feedback is quite shocking and appalling too so I'm curious to hear what you have to say about this! My suggestion would be to stop comparing yourself to the food court, stop with the absurd responses and take everyone's constructive feedback to heart in order to improve and build...

I've been a permanent costumer at that place, however just 30 minutes ago I've got a half raw duck. When I've called them to complain about it, that person who answered the phone (asian woman in middle 30s with quite short hair cut) firstly refused to let let me talk to the manager, then she recommended me to cook that absolutely disgusting duck in the microwave. She didn't even want to listen that what I tried to tell her, instead she told me that she is working in that store for 8 years and she knows how to cook the duck. She just ruined the family dinner, and my mood absolutely. This is was my favourite Asian restaurant that I've been recommending to my every friend who likes ducks, but now I'll never- ever go to place with such disgusting and unprofessional management. The another very important thing about that person is that when you a coming to the store she behaves like she should kiss your dirty shoes with smile on her face. That was my worst experience ever. I'll make sure that non of the people I know will never step to that place, better to go canning vale or Victoria park, at least there staff will do anything to make...

Ordered takeaway for roast combinations last week. When we stepped into the restaurant, we were still discussing what roast combinations we are after, this middle aged lady with neck length hair, assuming she's the owner, took away the service bell in front of us and brought it to the other side of the table and started ringing the service bell repetitively, one of her staff walked out and she was rudely and disrespectfully scolding the girl in front of all the customers. When we headed back to pick up our takeaways, she still needed us to wait after 10 minutes, she was making quite disturbance noises when breaking down the duck and chicken, not only do we found disturbance, but also the group of people who were dining in, they were looking towards her direction and kept quiet. And we found her scolding the same girl in Cantonese with no reasonable reason! Comment: Food is okay with generous amount of roast combinations. In terms of customer service: She's absolutely failing on this! 0/100 for her! With the price and food quality, I can go somewhere else for better quality of food and also reasonable price and definitely much better...
