Very bad, I put my order in and it took me 4mins from my house to get to Thornlie and then it started, I did what the app told me to do, pay in advance and not have to queue up, wrong big mistake, at the entrance to the car park it took 20mins just to get in to park my car, I saw about 20 to 30 cars just drive off, once inside it started maybe about 60 people waiting, I was on the left hand side and saw the screen on the right hand side so over I went, ah there I saw my number in the 3rd row so a little while later I looked at the screen and my number was 2nd in first row for a while, woohoo, next it was in 3rd row and then it disappeared off the screen never to be seen again So a while later I managed to get the attention of a young girl who seemed to have a bit of authority and showed her my app and order and ask her where it was also a few other started to ask the same question, then whilst looking and trying to find orders a young Asian guy was trying to find his way through the small screens whilst turning one of your chicken buckets around on his chin and on his lips so I hit the counter a few times to get attention I voiced my concerns and was told he was just trying to find his way on the small screen so I said no no what was he going to do with the clean bucket with his lips on it and this was witnessed by the younger man standing next to me, we had been discussing it until it got to the point of being ridiculous that's when I slapped the counter, you of course should have it and the nite on CCTV all in all including the time I ordered at 6.19pm my 4 min drive it took just on one hour, I don't blame the staff on because they would be junior's, I can only blame the owner and or management of the KFC store, this is the worst review I have ever given because it is the worst service I have ever had in my 54 years in the hospitality industry, my name is there because if there is no name it's not worth reading. Tonight was the 4th time Ive ordered through the app, and waited inline in the store LONGER, than just going in and ordering at the counter. The first time using the app, I left about 5 minutes after the order had been processed on the phone. I waited a good 20 minutes in the store before I picked the order up and left the store. In consequent visits, after ordering with the app, Ive waited longer before Ive left home. Tonight I waited 15 minutes before leaving home to get to the store.
I left the store with my order some 30 minutes later.
Nearly 3 waves of customers had come and gone while I was waiting. And the staff seem to be totally obsessed with drive thru and delivery orders. I had to literally call attention to myself before a staff member acknowledged me, and checked the screen for my order. And I really hate being "THAT" customer that demands to be seen above everything else going on.
Your staff need to be instructed to ask everyone that comes anywhere the front counter, if they have ordered, or do they need assistance. My order only seemed to registered on the larger screen above the delivery pick up area, once I inquired. In previous visits despite nearly standing practically on top of the counter to get their attention, staff frequently just walk past you, without even engaging eye contact.
Theres delivery drivers that just barge past you, and other customers that don't have the decency to ask you if you are in line, or have ordered. This store needs to get control of the front counter area.
I wouldn't complain if this had just happened once. But it continues to persist. Get a handle on it or you wont see another cent of my business.

Ordered a street wise meal Chips are not fresh and too much chicken salt 6 pieces of hot and spice - Not hot and spicey they were original Not cooked properly is not fresh There's no meat in the legs Instead of giving at least 3 big piece 2 medium and 1 small I got 3 big pieces 3 tighs - no meat on it and 1 wing.
Went back got the real hot and spicey chicken and non over loade salted chips and realize that the KFC team at thornile is bunch of teens what is this? High school musicals? They turned around and asked me what else was missing from what they were preparing is like do you even know your menu? Do you even know hospitality ?
Paid $24.95 + $8.95 delivery I can cook dodgy no meat chicken my self for $6 that's not hot and spicey and if I want to drain my self with salt I would of done it at home for $1.
My real question is why is people hired that doesn't even know hospitality and so much people are unemployed that are actually from that field that isn't a high school student. And they chucked the old chicken out, do you know how many people is dying and starving right...
