Third Wave Kiosk Torquay — Restaurant in Torquay

I don’t often leave reviews but I felt compelled to leave one for this experience I had today! I didn’t even know third wave did fresh made to order food, but I definitely found out today! The beef burger I ordered was such a pleasant surprise! Firstly, opening the packaging the burger looked like the pictures! Everyone knows what I’m talking about! The burger actually looked like the advertisement picture, straight away you know there is some love put into it. From the first bite I was hooked! Embarrassingly it took me about 5 bites to finish it. It was hands down one of the best burgers I have had in years! So well balanced, beautifully cooked and so so tasty! Well done guys! I will be back there every day I’m out catching some waves Well done...

Original: There is not a lot of transparency in food prices. I'm trying to make sense of how a small mocha and a juice becomes $15. It may have been a holiday surcharge (good Friday), but again, a complete lack of transparency makes it difficult to parse what was what.

It wouldn't be as bad if the coffee was good. It tasted like a regular latte without any chocolate, and the latte flavor wasn't very good either. It was very bland and on par with gas station coffee.

It may be a good food place, but I'd definitely avoid the coffee if only bc it just isn't good.

A disappointing experience. Not only was the coffee average, they do not accept keep cups and customer service was appalling. The woman who served me was just plain rude. I asked why they didn’t take keep cups curiously and was responded with ‘we just don’t’. I then went to return their own rubbish back to them which she refused to take back. For a coffee stall parallel to the beach, striving towards an eco friendly attitude and approach is so important. Especially when your products are being littered around your stall.
