Born and Bread in Tumut Bakery — Restaurant in Tumut

We bought a sausage roll, steak bacon & cheese and a curry pie. Everything was well below average. The sausage roll was so dry and flavourless with weird mystery bits in it that you didn’t know what it was. The steak bacon & cheese- the bacon was cut up into thick cubes, hardly any cheese and these weird bits of hard long pastry on top. Curry pie was meh. Pastry was okay overall but fillings were horrible. Wish we went to a different bakery.

Been highly recommend to try their custard scrolls. So today asked if they had any scrolls and was rudely replied with “if you want scrolls goto Bakers Delight” -pretty gobsmacked by the response. Will take my business to Pie in the Sky, where their pies are bigger and...

Pies are more sauce than meat no flavour. Don't waste money on cakes they are bland rubbery, custard slice was worst no flavour and thick gluggy rubbery custard ended up throwing in bin. Over priced for...
