After frequenting the Oriental hotel with their rude to disinterested staff and virtually no service we thought we would try Wing Cheng Chinese restaurant tonight.
Their staff greeted us warmly and had us seated immediately and were already organising our drinks order.
We ordered the sizzling Mongolian lamb and chicken with plum sauce plus a small fried rice. The food was served literally in minutes, pipping hot and very generous in serving size and flavour. I commented on how quickly they produced the food as they had a lot of takeaway orders and they have three kitchen staff and they are good at what they do. The other patrons received a similar level of service.

I thought the prices were a bit steep (approx $25 to $30 per dish) at least by Sydney standards, but the servings were quite generous. We shared 3 dishes between 5 people with some rice and were satisfied. The food came out fast and the staff were friendly, the lady knew how to speak Cantonese which is always a good sign at a Chinese restaurant!
