Read moreOur first time here, we chose it based on the high review score and expected it to be well reflective of that score.
Based on food -1 and based on ambience -1/2 and given the price of what we paid vs what we got -1/2.
We ordered Pad Thai - prawn, Prawn red curry and banana toast thing with ice cream and a Thai tea.
Food: it was ok, Pad Thai a bit too wet/soggy for us. We didn't really enjoy it. We ate it... Portion wise not bad.
Prawn red curry was... At best weak in taste and watery... Portion ok.
The banana bread thing with ice cream was actually nice, well the bread was. The ice cream had been melted and refrozen as could feel the giant ice shards in there. Not the best ice cream. For $20...yeah...nah there are much better desserts.
Thai tea, was legit Thai tea. Was nice but stupidly expensive +1 and -1.
Restaurant lay ambience itself, was ok. Seating a bit awkward in terms of layout... Having my head right next to menus wasn't great.
Service, was ok nothing special or bad.
Our bill was $75, there is some easy parking near by so there's that. I'm not going to lie I had high expectations given the pictures and what seems like good reviews. Only to be let down by what is more average and rather steep for what it is.
Would we come...

Outstanding highlight was the dessert, we have never had this in the past but the Honey Toasts is simply divine! Not what’d we expected but lovely fresh baked toast with almond - think an Almond Crossiant and Sweet bread loaf had an offspring! The hot goodness and cold ice cream plus drizzy drizzle of the honey was a match...
