9grams — Restaurant in Victoria

We went for brunch on Saturday, total experience wasn't that good. The waitress not welcoming and not attention to detail: leave last customer's cups on table even after we ordered the food, have to remind the waitress to clean the table; walked passed the table but not taken any empty drinks or plates off; if seated on the corner, would be ignored while other new coming table already having coffee. Regards to the food, wasn't worth for $1.5 for each individual chips ( $8.5 for 6-7 piece of chips?!)Also, the food comes out quite cold and really ordinary. The menu was quite ordinary too, nothing special. Last things I want to say is the drink. First time had latte without seeing latte art in it. Ordered large size came out as slight bigger than normal cup(1/2 shorter from normal mug from other cafes) Mixed juice tasted powdery, not that fresh.

Overall experience, not that worth of the look of the Cafe, nor the price it sales. I looked around other people's expressions, not really seem that happy with their experiences either. Anyway, hope the Cafe would learn from people's feedback, and good luck...

normally love this place but was disappointed today, there was a dead bug in my drink and i ordered the duo tacos that comes with sweet potato fries. upon ordering i requested to get plain fries instead of sweet potato, the waitress said she will ask the kitchen and let me know. about 20 minutes later, my food came with the sweet potato fries and no mention of the change, i asked if i could get them changed but she said “the kitchen did the sweet potato fries anyway”, i then mentioned to her and the manager (who was there too) that i asked when i ordered. a while later, i then got plain fries from the kitchen (i don’t think the waitress had asked in the first place!). however the waitress was apologetic and said she “forgot” to tell the kitchen (again, i don’t think she did) but hey ho i got my order eventually and she was apologetic and nice about it! i also think she was new and i understand new jobs can be...

Pretty disappointed with our experience at 9 grams. We travelled to Geelong for an event Friday night and thought it would be nice to grab breakfast before heading back to Melbourne on Saturday morning. One of our orders came out wrong and when my husband pointed it out to the waitress she rolled her eyes and took the plate back into the kitchen. It was pretty disgraceful. When the order came back out it was still wrong … No one bothered to come and check on us the whole time we were at our table. My husband ended up going over to pay the bill once three of the four of us finished eating and explained to the lady at the bar the meal that was incorrect wasn't touched and asked for it to be removed from the bill, which was done without an issue. The staff didn't seem to want to be there, overall the energy was pretty flat....
