This is normally my favorite Thai place in Shepparton. But last night I had a particular bad experience. I went to pay for the 3 dishes that I had. I had $60 in my hand ready to pay. The lady used the calculator to add up my bill and said $73. I didn’t really think and got another $20 out of my wallet. She gave me $7 change. As I walked out I thought geez that was expensive. And then my girlfriend told me why so expensive? So we went back to check. I said to the lady that I think I paid to much. Straight away she gave me the most sour face I have ever seen. Read moreI came here because I was craving Thai food and ordered the Khao Gai Tod (fried chicken with rice) along with their fried rice — and both turned out surprisingly delicious!
The chicken was crispy on the outside yet tender inside, paired nicely with the fragrant rice and dipping sauce. The fried rice had that wok-charred flavor I love, perfectly seasoned and not too oily. I also tried their Thai milk tea, which was creamy, refreshing, and just sweet enough to balance the meal.
The vibe of the restaurant is warm and cozy with traditional Thai touches, giving it a homely yet inviting atmosphere. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m craving comfort Thai food...
