THE BEST NZ PIES, SAUSAGE ROLLS AND CARAMEL SLICE in Melbourne so far! I didn't know this store were selling NZ bakery items (even though they had a big massive fern on the wall in store). Bought a sausage roll, steak and cheese, cream donut and caramel slice. The sausage roll tasted so great that I demolished it al. Very rare to hsve onions in the sausages roll here. I questioned my husband about the bakery, how it tasted like NZ goods. Once i tried the pie, it was so hot & fresh that i had to walk back In store to acknowledge the bakers about their food. Now I've just seen the fern lol These bakers are from Taupo back in NZ. Overall i would prefer these than any NZ bakeries in laverton Melbourne.

Very consistent takeaway bakery / cafe that's popular for good reason. "NZ Style" pies that do indeed have that classic taste and are very nice. Excellent sandwitches on fresh bread with heaps of filling and made with care. It's self-serve but means it's fast and efficient, grab your stuff and pay. Good selection of cold packaged drinks, surprisingly nice coffee every time too. A quick visit to Aldi down the road and you can even finish off that NZ pie with a mallowpuff.

I have never found a bakery even remotely close to what we have in NZ. Everyone has their preference but this is it, the best bakery in Australia. I travel across aus and have made many stops at different bakery’s, marketplaces and cafes and not one place is even close to the quality here in Bacchus Marsh. Makes sense as owner is from NZ and now resides in the local area. Wish I could take this back to Brisbane. A+++++

I have never found a bakery even remotely close to what we have in NZ. Everyone has their preference but this is it, the best bakery in Australia. I travel across aus and have made many stops at different bakery’s, marketplaces and cafes and not one place is even close to the quality here in Bacchus Marsh. Makes sense as owner is from NZ and now resides in the local area. Wish I could take this back to Brisbane. A+++++

Working across the road on Taverner street laying fresh asphalt and always have my lunchbox packed with food from home however the girl from work kept raving about this place so I decided not to pack any food and grab everything from this bakery. Best decision ever!! Beef and cheese pie, 1000/10 sausage rolls are amazing size for the price which is also affordable & chicken and avo roll is also beautiful reminds me of a good home made sandwich. Came in on a recommendation from a client that was raving about the pies. I can honestly say it was absolutely one of the best pies I have had for a long time. The pastry was flakey and light, gravy was nice and not to runny, big chunks of delicious meat and filling enough that one was enough.

Not sure what is going on with the vanilla slice though. It was glad wrapped, soggy and the custard was strange. Almost like jelly. Taste was ok but just not hitting the mark.

Lucky the pie was so good because I will back to try more of those but will skip on the the...
