Ordered online on Saturday 15th for delivery and spent $66.53. For some reason food went through as pick up. Didn't notice until 6.20 but next said it was ready at 6. Spoke to GEORGIA who said she could have it delivered, but we would have to wait another 30 mins. I said that would be fine, as long as she was going to send fresh food as the food had been ready for already 20 mins and she assured me it would not be cold. Food arrived around 7pm and not only was it ALL COLD, it was all old and dry. It was inedible. I called back again and spoke to GEORGIA again who advised it shouldn't have been cold, as it had been sitting under the heat lamp since it was ready at 6pm. She confirmed they did not remake the food and she went ahead and sent the old food after confirming they wouldn't be.
I told her that I would have just asked for a refund if she said she was going to send the old food, as that's why I specifically asked for about not sending the old food. She apologised and said she would get a refund sent through but her manager SORCHA had to process it and it would come through in a few days. It's now been OVER A WEEK and my refund has not been processed.
Very poor customer service. Imagine sending a chicken burger and nuggets that had been made an hour earlier out to a customer. We didn't get to eat any of it out of fear of getting sick as it was ALL OUT OF HOLD TIME AND WAS AT DANGEROUS...

Mumbling stuff about the waitress and swearing about her. When he placed our food on the heated bench he locked eyes with me and I looked at him as if to say we just heard everything you’ve been doing, he and gave me a death stair and walked down the kitchen mumbling more swear words and slammed a door. My husband and I both jumped.I watched our food sit there for 10 minutes before I was brought to us. We were the only people in there this whole time and during this whole time the chef was just punching, throwing, banging things around, swearing. We finished our food as quickly as we could and left feeling anxious for the rest of the day. We still couldn’t shake the anxiety from this toxic environment so my husband wrote feedback on the boss burger co. Website. That was a week ago and still nothing. Not even an automated response . I would not recommend this restaurant as they don’t seem to care about their customers concerns and how uncomfortable the atmosphere was. Read moreWe went out for dinner a couple of weeks ago, got to boss burger at 8.45, because I finished work and headed straight out to Sturt street with my partner, we walked up to the counter ordered our food, the waiter was quite nice, we ordered a chicken burger with coleslaw, a double beef burger, a Milo milkshake and a 600ml Coke, ($65+) The milkshake was very nice, however the MEAT of both burgers WAS EXPIRED , the CHICKEN tasted funny, at first I thought it was due to seasoning but realised it wasn’t, however I took one bite of my partners double beef burger after he said it TASTED FUNNY and realised that it was very much off, was rancid and unedible, ended up spitting out the one bite I took.
